Yesterday we learned that the Army will charge the traitorous Army Sgt Bowe Bergdahl with desertion and misbehavior with the enemy for leaving his post in Afghanistan in 2009. To secure his release, the Obama Administration brokered a deal that led to the release of five Taliban members in an exchange for Bergdahl. The ‘Taliban Five’ has been under surveillance in Qatar for the past ten months, but their supervised release in the Gulf nation is about to expire in May.

According to new reports, at least three of the infamous Taliban Five have attempted to plug back into their old terror networks, one of them making phone calls to militants. The director of the Defense Intelligence Agency told Congress recently that all his officers can do is warn the United States government if any of the five terrorists return to the battlefields with new or former groups.

“I’ve seen nothing that causes me to believe these folks are reformed or [have] changed their ways or intend to re-integrate to society in ways to give me any confidence that they will not return in trying to do harm to America,” said Rep, Mike Pompeo, R-Kansas, a member of the House Intelligence Committee.

Is anyone really surprised? Anyone? Me neither. Of course these men will return to the battlefield. Of course the Obama Administration blundered the whole Bergdahl release, and of course the State Department is now disagreeing with the intelligence garnered from those who are tasked with watching these five criminals.

“None of the five individuals has returned to the battlefield and none of the five have left Qatar,” the State Dept official said. “Since their transfer many actions have been taken to restrict the actions of these individuals, and they are all being closely monitored by the United States and Qatar.”

So, this State Department official is telling us the terrorists are being perfect angels in their last year of detainment/surveillance. We’ll see what happens in May when they are legally free to go.

Despite the Obama Administration’s purported tracking of these individuals, I fully believe that when they are freed fully in May that these monsters will head right back to terrorism and to killing innocent people whenever given the chance. If you are trying to change, you don’t call the bad influences up to chat about the good ole days.
