How serious do Democrats really take the January 6th LARPing event at the Capitol? SanFranGran Pelosi (D-mentia) couldn’t help but drop the veil by seriously suggesting that the rioters would have met a street fighter if they had ever caught up to her. Seriously..

Drink warning, dear reader.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrectionists (sic) would have “had a battle on their hands” if they encountered her — declaring she is a “street fighter.”

“That’s what they were setting out to do,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) told USA Today, (snip)

If they had, she continued, “Well, I’m pretty tough. I’m a street fighter. They would have had a battle on their hands.”

There are a lot of tough grandmas in this nation – none of them named “Nancy Pelosi” – but no rational 81 y/o woman would be bragging how they could take on a band of rogue rioters if she ever considered there was a real threat in the first place. It is really easy to puff out your bantam chest, roll the dentures around in your mouth and bray about how brave you’d have been when there was never any real threat of any thing more serious than an eyestrain from rolling them at refugees from Village People fandom and incel neckbeards.

Were fires set? Offices looted? Statues toppled?

Face it, while there were scuffles on one side of the capitol, on the other LEO’s was letting people in. So-called rioters who strolled through the building like tourists, respecting the velvet ropes and taking selfies. Even AOC’s copious tears over being a survivor turned out to theater. Just the flip side of Pelosi’s street fighter braggadocio.

Meanwhile, the Biden cabal is so eager to keep the Kabuki Theater going there are now real political prisoners.

The Arkansas man, photographed showboating inside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office on January 6, has been behind bars for more than three months. Barnett occupied Pelosi’s office for six whole minutes; he absconded with a piece of mail and left her a note that read “Nancy, Bigo was here, you Bitch.”

The desk belonged to a Pelosi aide, not the speaker herself. Several reporters and photographers who also happened to be in Pelosi’s office at the very same time prompted Barnett to sit at the desk and “act natural” as they took a series of photos. (snip)

Judge Beryl Howell sided with the Justice Department and ordered Barnett, a retired firefighter with no criminal record, transported to Washington, D.C. where he remains incarcerated awaiting trial next month. (He is one of more than three dozen Capitol protesters denied bail and currently held in solitary confinement conditions at the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility. Barnett reportedly has been attacked by prison guards; one allegedly told the inmate that he “hate[s] all white people.”) (snip)

He can’t go home, according to the Justice Department, because Barnett is too controlling of his common-law wife, Tammy Newburn.

But as a wag once put it, if Democrats didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any standards at all. Post-American Democrats have their Reichstag fire and they are going to cudgel the hell out of the Constitution with it as long as we let them.
