SCOTUS Keeps Block Of Biden’s Title IX Rules In Place

SCOTUS dealt a blow to Biden’s rewrite of Title IX that included giving transgenders the right to be on women and girls sports teams and use women and girls locker rooms.

Back in April, the Biden Administration in the interest of FAIRNESS and catering to the transgender crowd, arbitrarily changed up the Title IX rules. WITHOUT involving Congress. The ban essentially told schools and teams that anyone who wants to BE on the team who is a transgender, must be allowed to participate. Even if it ends up as a detriment to the girls, genuine girls, themselves.

This is a good synopsis of the three rules in question:

The first provision recognizes that Title IX’s ban on sex discrimination includes discrimination based on gender identity. A second provision at issue in the case makes clear that schools violate Title IX when they bar transgender people from using bathrooms and locker rooms consistent with their gender identity. And a third provision defines “hostile-environment harassment” to include harassment based on gender identity, which the states say could require students and teachers to refer to transgender students by the pronouns that correspond to their gender identity.

In June, federal trial courts blocked the Department of Education from enforcing any part of the 2024 rule in the 10 states bringing the challenge. Federal appeals courts in New Orleans and Cincinnati then turned down the federal government’s request to allow it to temporarily enforce all of the rule, which was originally slated to go into effect on August 1, with the exception of the latter two provisions targeting discrimination against transgender people – which, the government said, are the source of the injuries that the 10 states allege — while its appeals continued.

Needless to say, this ruling from SCOTUS is causing people who live in reality to cheer.

And those who have bought into the very harmful transgender craze will clutch pearls and whine about the unfairness of it all. You see, the rules should’ve been put in place and accepted without hesitation so no transgender athlete would be discriminated against.

The Supreme Court on Friday temporarily continued to block Education Department rules intended to protect transgender students from discrimination based on their gender identity in several Republican states that had mounted challenges.

The emergency order allowed rulings by lower courts in Louisiana and Kentucky to remain in effect in about 10 states as litigation moves forward, maintaining a pause on new federal guidelines expanding protections for transgender students that had been enacted in nearly half the country on Aug. 1.

According to The Washington Post, this ruling was only about how schools should handle discrimination and complaints against transgenders. Which was not the case at all. In the interest of fairness, the overly broad rewrite of the Title IX rules essentially put mandates in place forcing schools to allow transgenders into girls locker rooms and onto girls teams.

A Department of Education spokeswoman decried the court’s decision, as did Shiwali Patel, senior director of Safe and Inclusive Schools at the National Women’s Law Center. “We are disappointed in the Supreme Court’s decision that creates significant harm to students across the country who are in need of the critical protections the new Title IX rule offers and clarifies,” Patel said in a statement.

I just cannot understand how a school can be “safe” when there are notable instances, such as in Loudon County, of transgenders assaulting girls, and getting away with it. How can schools be ‘safe’ if a transgender athlete spikes the volleyball so hard, the girl he hit will deal with the aftermath of the concussion and brain injury for the rest of her life?

By the same token there are schools, again Loudon County as an example, absolutely need to change their policies on dealing with sexual assaults within the district. However, using Executive Orders to put rules into place that cater to transgenders instead of ensuring that ALL are equally protected is a disservice to all.

Of course, the activists aren’t pleased. They firmly believe that the only way to prevail is to mandate that women’s sports allow transgenders to compete without question.

We are seeing it in middle school, high school, colleges, the Olympics and even at the Paralympics

Valentina Petrillo is visually impaired, but anyone can see this fact clearly.

The Italian sprinter — who, later this month, will become the first openly trans athlete to compete in the Paralympic Games — is a strapping biological man and should not be racing against women on a world stage.

And yet: Different games, same old story. Man identifies as woman and the doors of female spaces magically swing open for them. Truth be damned.

Before transitioning in 2019, Petrillo won a whopping 11 national titles in visually-impaired categories as a man. Last summer, the runner took bronze in both the women’s 200 and 400 meters at the Para Athletics World Championships.

SCOTUS has rightfully told the Biden Administration they are out of line. It is a major win for girls and women. However, the war itself continues.

This was a close call…and shows where we are at in this country: Whacko liberal ideology will destroy this country yet, despite this ruling.

“giving transgenders the right to be on women and girls sports teams and use women and girls locker rooms.”

Note there’s no issue of giving “transgenders” the right to use men’s and boys’ locker rooms. That’s because even women don’t want to parade naked in front of a captive audience of men or boys. It’s only men who want to parade naked in front of a captive audience of women or girls.

If taking drugs to enhance a sex change isn’t performance-enhancing, I don’t know what is….
