San Francisco was once known as the beautiful City by the Bay. White-guilt induced Liberal policies have turned the city into an unlivable, public toilet with a homeless and needle problem. Laws are not enforced or prosecuted. What have the people of San Francisco done now? They have elected a District Attorney who has promised to make things worse.

Well, he didn’t actually say that he would make things worse, but his campaign promises make it clear that he isn’t a big “broken windows” fan. Chesa Boudin is the newly elected District Attorney in that once stunning city. Boudin has stated that he will not prosecute “quality of life” crimes. From the Washington Examiner:

“We will not prosecute cases involving quality-of-life crimes,” Boudin said during the campaign. “Crimes such as public camping, offering or soliciting sex, public urination, blocking a sidewalk, etc., should not and will not be prosecuted. Many of these crimes are still being prosecuted. We have a long way to go to decriminalize poverty and homelessness.”

Wait, what? Nobody wants to criminalize poverty or homelessness. But, shouldn’t taxpayers have some expectation of reasonable use of their property and the streets and sidewalks their taxes pay to keep up. No. Not for Chesa Boudin. We lock up too many people and don’t do enough outreach. Here is the new D.A. in his own campaign ad:

Yes, he had to go to prison to visit his folks because they were prosecuted as domestic terrorists. The people who raised him are Bernadine Dorhn and Bill Ayers. Also, Boudin went to Yale. This might explain why Boudin is so woke he probably hasn’t slept for two decades. He has an innate dislike for law enforcement. Law enforcement officers are not brutal people. They are the thin blue line between the citizens and anarchy. At least, that is true for me and the those who like civil order.

Again, from the Washington Examiner:

Boudin isn’t helping anyone. If anything, his nonchalant attitude will only widen the enormous divide between San Francisco’s ultra-wealthy, who live in separation from the muck — and the rest of the city. The 1% will continue to flood the tech industry, unbothered by high rates of crime, poverty, and low quality of life that won’t personally affect them. And the middle class and lower class will continue to flee while the poor get poorer. This is how California has become one of the worst states in America for both wealth and income inequality.

With his politically correct campaign, Boudin is paying lip service to the poor while pushing policies that will make their lives worse, just as San Francisco Democrats have done for decades.

The one percenters in San Francisco don’t have to see what their city has become. The poor live in the squalor. The middle-class is fleeing. The District Attorney will only hasten that flight, for those who can afford to leave.

Here is my best advice. If you can leave San Francisco, get out now. Once the city fails, our nation should not bail them out.
