Three members of “The Squad” — or as I call them, the “Power Puff Squad” — appeared Saturday at the Netroots Convention in Philadelphia. These included Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley. They became the Queens of Netroots Nation.

So where was the Queen Bee of the Squad? Apparently Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was back in her district, working to keep illegals her “neighbors” safe from Sunday’s ICE raid.

But that was okay, since her sisters Ilhan, Rashida, and Ayanna would carry their declaration of war to Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, stating their plan to take over leadership.
Fire that shot into the Democrat stern!

In fact, Ilhan Omar didn’t even try to sugarcoat her fightin’ words:
“Every single person in Congress has a role. Our role is to take our votes and leadership’s role is to wrangle votes. There’s a constant struggle oftentimes with people who have power about sharing that power. We are not really in the business of asking for the share of that power. We’re in the business of trying to grab that power.”
She came to the party spoiling for a fight, didn’t she?
Squad girl Ayanna Pressley then added a dash of identity politics to her battle cry. She started by talking about a table:
“I don’t want to bring a chair to an old table. This is the time to shake the table. This is the time to redefine that table. . . .”
And then she played her race card. Just in case there were “People of Color” who might hesitate about joining the Squad Revolt:
“If you’re not prepared to come to that table and represent that voice, don’t come, because we don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice.”
In other words, if you’re not our kind of brown, don’t stick around. And if you’re not our kind of black, get back.

We’re in the business of trying to grab that power.
YAY! Maybe – just maybe – that will wake up some Democrats to the outright tyranny some of their folks want to bring on the rest of the country. Maybe that outright attempt at a coup within the party will lead them to see the coup the whole party leadership is attempting over our rights and our nation.
And if it doesn’t? Well, then I’ll watch as they destroy each other while I keep my powder dry for the victor.
because you don’t even need a high school diploma to be a CBP officer, their only pathway to the middle class is to work for CBP.
Hey, that sounds familiar! Now, where have I heard that before… hmmmmm….
Oh yeah!
“You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
John Kerry
But it played well to the Netroots Nation.
Of course it did, because they’re primarily racist/racialist a**holes who couldn’t get the water out of a boot if the instructions were printed on the heel.
lawless president
Hmmm, how about the lawless Congress members? Or the lawless judges?
Or is this another example of “lawful = what we want, lawless = what anyone else wants”?
who is going to be the next crooked CEO that runs for president?
So, you’re pulling for Steyer?
human rights abuses being committed on the border and against immigrants
Not by our Border Patrol. And they are NOT “immigrants”, they are “invaders”.
I wouldn’t call them “Power Puff Girls”, Kim, because that inanity is not a threat to our country.
These four idiots most certainly ARE.
“This is the time to redefine that table. . . .”
And after they’re all done tearing it apart and rebuilding it…IT’S still
just a d a m n table. And we pick up the tab for their poor ‘cabinetry’.
