Rachel Morin, a Maryland resident, was brutally attacked, raped, and killed by an illegal alien. Yesterday, her mother, Patti Morin, leveled the WH Press Corp with her candid testimony as to how horrifically savage the attack on her daughter was.
Before I get into her testimony, and believe me, it’s tough to hear, I want to point out a few things. First, there is a U.S. Senator from Maryland gallivanting around El Salvador and grandstanding bout how HIS constituent is languishing in an awful prison.
The government of El Salvador denied a request from Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) to see or speak to his Maryland constituent who was mistakenly deported there, the senator said during a visit to the country on Wednesday.
“Constituent.” Seriously that’s how Hollen is framing this as he’s using Maryland taxpayer dollars to fly to El Salvador and grandstand on behalf of an illegal alien who definitely IS a member of MS-13, had serious allegations of domestic abuse against him, and had not one but TWO deportation orders in his file.
Quite honestly, at this juncture, I don’t care what Garcia’s wife (or common-law wife – it’s not clear) says. They might have “repaired” their relationship, but whatever happened in the past to have her file charges TWICE tells me there were serious problems. Which, sadly, makes me ask the question. What’s in it for her in regards to advocating now for her husband?
Politico is framing this as a fight for justice, freedom, and all the things regardless of their criminal record or if they are legal citizens of the United States.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), the No. 4 Senate Democrat, is planning his own trip, according to a person granted anonymity to discuss his travel plans. And in the House, Reps. Maxwell Frost (D-Fla.) and Robert Garcia (D-Calif.) said they intend to go to El Salvador “as soon as possible,” as has another Oversight Committee member, Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.). Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-Ill.) mounted another push Wednesday through the House Homeland Security Committee.
Aren’t they just too cute for words? Democrats are all in for illegal aliens, even those who commit crimes. Their own constituents? Not a peep.
With Hollen’s grandstanding visit to El Salvador, this is where Patti Morin comes in. She was the special guest yesterday afternoon at the WH Press briefing. I happened to turn on Fox News right before she spoke, and let me tell you, listening to her was beyond heart wrenching.
As difficult as it is, I urge you to take the time to watch and LISTEN to this Angel Mom. If you aren’t able to, this is part of what she said.
“He saw her. He saw that there was nobody around. He attacked her. He dragged her 150 feet, blood gushing from her head. It left a 150-foot trail of her blood to the culvert where he took he picked her up, he threw her against the wall the tunnel, and he raped her,” the grieving mother narrated.
“But before he did that, he stopped on that trail and rocks — still stained with her blood — he used them. He hammered her head against those rocks. They say 20, at least 20 times. They could count the cuts in her head. They said that when they did the autopsy, and I’ve seen the pictures, there’s a six inch square in the back of her head where the skull is shattered, the way that you would crush eggshell in pieces.”
Victor Martinez-Hernandez brutally murdered Rachel Morin and the only thing Senator Chris Van Hollen could muster was a benign statement from his office. Nothing across social media platforms. Yet, for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, it’s all hands on deck!

The WH Press corps was, for once, silent, as Patti Morin detailed the brutality that her daughter went through. One would hope that they’d ALL report on this afterwards as well as her subsequent meeting with President Trump. Well, this is how the guttersnipes at the NY Times reported it.
At a news conference in Washington on Wednesday, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, savaged Democrats, saying they were “rushing to defend an illegal foreign terrorist gang member.” And she invited Patty Morin, the mother of Rachel Morin, a Maryland woman the authorities say was raped and murdered by an illegal immigrant two years ago, to tell her daughter’s story in gruesome detail in an apparent effort to stoke outrage against unlawful immigrants.
Guess what you assholes? You deliberately left out the fact that a Maryland JURY found Victor Martinez-Hernandez GUILTY of kidnapping, first degree rape, and first degree murder in less than an hour. Not only that, but he committed crimes in LA before getting to Maryland. Yet, since a family’s pain doesn’t fit your narrative, you shamefully ignore reality.

To their credit, the El Salvadoran government said a big fat NOPE to Hollen’s grandstanding. I’m sure that is small comfort to the Morin family, and especially to Rachel’s children given that Democrats have chosen illegal alien criminals over American citizens.

Also, he still has a constitutional right to due process and has never been convicted of a crime. I guess you’re ok sending people who aren’t convicted criminals to brutal prisons?
As for Morin, while my heart goes out to her for her daughter’s brutal death, what does it have to do with Abrego Garcia? He didn’t kill her daughter. Is she trying to argue that all El Salvadoran men are murderers? By that same logic, all white men are serial killers because Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer were white.
Chris Van Hollen going to El Salvador in no way negates what happened to Morin’s daughter. Her daughter’s killer was tried and convicted and received his due process. Abrego Garcia thus far has not received any of that. That’s the issue. That’s why it matters. Van Hollen is standing up for the constitutional rights of a person who was here in the US. And FYI, the whole legal vs illegal thing is a red herring. The constitution says that any “person” in the US is afforded due process. This means citizens and non-citizens alike. A country that summarily rounds up people and ships them off to a violent, brutal prison is not a democracy. And again, it is blatantly unconstitutional.
This blog’s insistence on continuing to call him a gang member and criminal is disgusting. All of the official, primary court documents around his case prove that he is none of those things and yet you continue to lie.
Trotting out this woman would be the same as trotting out a German non-Jewish citizen who tells a story about how they were victimized by a Jew to justify rounding up Jews. It’s the exact same thing. The fact that you can’t see that reveals a lot about your morality and humanity. If you claim to love the constitution and our country’s laws, then you shouldn’t be ok with this, period.

You say ” any person in the US is afforded due process” but conveniently leave out ( as you liars do with birthright citizenship) the qualifying portion AND.SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION THEREOF… he was here illegally, and he is a citizen of El Salvador.
