The Winter Olympic games are set to take the stage in Milan and Canadian-born pop singer, Tate McRae is backing Team USA.
Full transparency here: I had no clue who Ms. McRae was but, I’m not a teenage girl. McRae appeared in an ad for the upcoming Olympic Games with a desire to “spend the week with some of America’s best skating for gold” and be in Milan for “Lindsey Vonn’s epic comeback”. The Calgary, Alberta native got some backlash, needless to say…
Selling out for usa is the most albertan thing she could do to be fair https://t.co/HIQ8CsLlVv

Tate McRae is a traitor, they say. Exile her from the hinterlands of the north!
you are not too woke.

McRae, who rose to stardom on the American reality television series So You Think You Can Dance back in 2016, currently lives in New York City. The girl is a long way from Canada. And, she is from Alberta, one of the more conservative provinces of Canada. All of that being said, some Canadians are using this opportunity to release the hate for Tate. Arguably, she is more American than some of the participants. Take “Alpine Powerhouse, No-Chance-Of-Winning-A-Gold-Medal“, Lindsay Vonn:
Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president. I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony. I want to represent our country well. I don’t think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that.” –Lindsay Vonn in an interview with CNN on December 7, 2017
Ms. Vonn dropped out of the Winter Olympics in 2018 because there was no chance of her winning the gold. And, there was no chance of her gracing DJT with her presence at The White House, either. While it is still exciting to see Vonn hit the slopes after knee replacement surgery and tearing an ACL, and while Vonn’s priorities may be a bit different this time around (she has not said one way or another whether she would visit The White House if the invitation was extended), she still is who she is. Maybe we can trade Vonn for Tate? Better yet…can we trade Tate for Trudeau’s new firework, Katy Perry?

Please? As Americans, we are begging you! Take her!
Canada used to be pretty awesome. But liberals in our country still pine for crossing the borders permanently to escape the utter “oppression” and “tyranny” in The United States of America. We even have Canadian-born citizens living here here who shovel this horse manure, and still won’t leave. That should tell us something. They still think we suck less. Canada flat-out sucks as a place to live. Sure, it looks good on paper. Sure, they had Trudeau and now have Prime Minister Mark Carney to carry the disastrous globalist torch over there, making life in Canada progressively worse with higher costs of living, taxes, and the joys of socialized medicine.
As a result of these long waits, by one recent estimate, at any given moment, over one million Canadians—3 percent of the entire population—are waiting for a medical treatment.
These lists can average six months, and often much longer in rural areas, which tend to suffer from doctor shortages so severe that many do not even have a family doctor.44
Overall, 15 percent of Canadians did not have a regular health care provider in 2017.The shortages ripple through the system; one doctor in Ontario called in a referral to the local hospital, only to be told there was a four-and-a-half year wait to see a neurologist.
A Montreal man was finally called for his long-delayed urgent surgery two months after he had died.
One 16-year-old boy in British Columbia waited three years for an urgent surgery, during which time his condition deteriorated so much that he became a paraplegic.”-Peter St. Onge, Heritage.org
Imagine Ms. Vonn waiting three years for a knee replacement.
So, really, who can blame Tate for cheering on Team USA? Or, at the very least, agreeing to get paid to be in a promotion for the Winter Olympic Games on the network? She knows where her bread is buttered. The network actually trolled Canada with this one. Good job, NBC!
Without the USA nobody knew who she was, so she's just paying back while getting paid in the process. Brilliant

Or dare I venture to say, epically trolled,eh?
