WOOHOOO!!! Its Party Time!! Good news ladies and gentlemen! That wonderful magical horrendously awful Iran Deal (the JCPOA) is now fact whether we like it or not.

President Obama on Sunday signed the Iran nuclear deal, officially putting the international agreement into effect.

Not only that, but the President and White House are cleverly calling today’s signing of the deal “Adoption Day”. Believe you me, there are far FAR better things to adopt than this deal from hell.

You can read the White House official statement here. Never mind the fact that Iran has blatantly and willfully violated the deal before it even began. Never mind the fact that Iran has committed 6 or more MAJOR violations since July 14. And we really should ignore Iran’s October 10 ICBM ballistic missile test – really we should!

According to Power, the U.S. government has determined the medium-range missile tested by Iran was “inherently capable of delivering a nuclear weapon.” As the Associated Press reports, such a weapon system violates a 2010 U.N. Security Council resolution, which banned Iran from “any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons, including launches using ballistic missile technology.”

“The Security Council prohibition on Iran’s ballistic missile activities, as well as the arms embargo, remain in place and we will continue to press the Security Council for an appropriate response to Iran’s disregard for its international obligations,” Power said in a statement to the AP.

Even after that in-your-face violation of the deal and other sanctions currently in place, our blind head-in-the-sand Administration and President STILL thought signing this piece of dreck was a good idea!! I think these two are the only ones yukking it up right now…

We’ve been writing and basically yelling about this deal for months. Iran itself has demonstrated, shown, and flat out stated that they are not and don’t ever want to be pals with the United States. But never you mind – you see Obama and Secretary of State John “Lurch” Kerry – well they know better. And so they did it their way – the National Security and foreign policy of the United States be damned. I’m not the only one ticked off about this.

I’ll say it bluntly, Mr. President, this “Adoption Day” of yours is absolutely NOT something to celebrate.  You and your merry band of knaves and fools (and I’m counting Congress in that mix) have foisted an incredibly dangerous deal on us all and basically handed Iran the keys to the kingdom along with billions of dollars. All for your legacy and so you can say you made a “friend.” Sorry Pal, Iran never has and NEVER EVER will be our friend. I hope you can deal with that reality when it lands on your head…and ours.
