It was just another Mamdani Monday with professional rebel-rouser/organizer-now-Mayor, Zohran Mamdani on the streets of New York yesterday.
Mamdani joined the picket line of about 15,000 of striking nurses from New York City private hospitals-demanding higher wages.
The hospital executives who run these hospitals, the ones where these hardworking nurses are asking for what they deserve, these executives are not having difficulty making ends meet.
But for too many of the 15,000 NYSNA nurses who are on strike, they are not able to make their ends meet,” he said. “They are not asking for a multimillion-dollar salary.”-Zohran Mamdani
Like they would once Mamdani raises taxes for his pet projects?
Do nurses realize that under Mamdani’s socialism they’ll be poorer than they’ve ever been?

Calling the Communist-or, should I say-Democratic Socialist Angels…
Who does he think is going to help these patients during a strike? … Communist angels?” People are gonna die because of it.
A mayor shouldn’t go on a picket line for people on strike who are needed to deliver critical services.”-Former Mayor, Rudy Giuliani
Don’t worry, though. Grandma will still get the care she needs:
“Care won’t be impacted”, they say. They hired about 1,000 traveling nurses to their 15,000 that are on strike in the streets but these numbers “won’t impact care” at all. And Zohran is rallying behind the nurses’ and the union’s demand for better wages at these private hospitals. Boy, I cannot wait until he makes everything-to include healthcare free in the city. Are the nurses at his “free” healthcare hospitals going to be making $200,000/annually? Show me a nurse making 200K in a Socialist society. What do nurses make in Venezuela these days, anyway?
Oh well fvck this. I worked in the medical field 22 years. Oncology. I would NEVER abandon my patients. NEVER. All of these self-centered, faux TikTok 'nurses' should be stripped of their licenses. ALL OF THEM. pic.twitter.com/bqJSjyuesF

And why-oh-why are these hospital administrators who are “rolling in the dough”, spending money on temporary, traveling nurses when they can be funding the healthcare of those nurses protesting in the streets? Yes, this was a legit statement made by one of the protestors. To me, this argument is similar to the teachers who “care so much about the children” but walk off the job, forcing districts to cancel class. Don’t get me wrong, I am all about nurses getting paid fairly. They get puked on, urinated on, cussed at and work long and hard hours. They sometimes neglect their own health to take care of others. These is no disputing they need to be paid fairly. But, saying “they can fund my healthcare” before staffing a hospital so one can walk around with a picket sign and complain about wages while sick people are still sick is, in my humble opinion, the epitome of tone deaf.
And Zohran Mamdani going out to be in solidarity with the nurses just goes to show all what a performative jester he is. Must be his desire to make everyone feel the “warmth” of his collectivism.
Mamdani’s performative solidarity with nurses is a joke. His own $65M gender-transition slush fund proves he’ll burn taxpayer cash on ideological pet projects while nurses fight for basic staffing and safety. Where was his “dignity” when Montefiore nurses faced 20:1 patient…

About that slush fund:
Mamdani pledged to spend $57 million on medical centers and nonprofits that provide gender-affirming care, and a further $8 million to develop new resources including greater telehealth accessibility and an “Access Hub” to help care seekers find providers.”–Them
One would think, as mayor of New York, that Zohran Mamdani would have more sense than to pick a side or to show up to a picket line. Doesn’t he have bidets to install at Gracie Mansion or something?
The people’s mansion, he says. The guy who joins the picket line but never worked a single day in his life. A true man of the people! Grandstanding and showboating. Appearing EXACTLY where the cameras are.
But the fact we simply cannot ignore is this opportunistic clod talking about nurses showing up on 9/11-a moment of darkness. He was 9 years old when New York faced that darkness. His hijab-wearing “aunt” feared for her life on the subway after that fateful day. No big deal because he sides with the “some people did something” crowd. “A couple of people” were responsible for those 3,000 lives lost.

It’s only been a mere few days of this insanity in New York City but it feels like it’s been an eternity with this guy’s shenanigans. Forget the bidet…the whole town is gonna need an enema. STAT.
