Yes, Bill Maher has some TDS. But, as of recently, Maher actually brought forth some harsh realities for his comrades on the left.
The most recent own on Bill Maher’s show was this exchange with Neil deGrasse Tyson about 12 minutes in:
MAHER: But engage with the idea here. What I’m asking is, Scientific American is saying basically that the reason why an NBA WNBA team can’t beat the Lakers is because of societal bias.
TYSON: What you’re saying is not Scientific American says that. An editor for Scientific American says that, who no longer has the job. So don’t indict a 170-year-old magazine because somebody—
MAHER: Okay, this is called Scientific American, and they’re printing something. Why can’t you just talk about science? Why can’t you just say this is not scientific and Scientific American should do better?
TYSON: Well, does she still have her job?
MAHER: No, not because of this. I said the scandal is not her tweet. I think a year ago [when this was printed], women still couldn’t beat men in basketball or any other sport. And it wasn’t because of society. You don’t see a problem?… Well, I’m gonna file you under part of the problem.
The Editor-in-Chief was Laura Helmuth, who is now out at Scientific American after unhinged social media rants. Let’s backtrack a bit here. Remember when Neil deGrasse Tyson was cool and not a mouthpiece for the left? Maher was asking him about something scientific. Societal bias may be a scientific study all on its own, but should the “societal bias” outweigh biology (a true science) on the subject of the physical abilities of biological men and woman and competing in sports? That was what Maher was asking when “The Grass” glossed over it all.
Does she still have her job?
Laura Helmuth still had her job after that article was written, Neil. Just saying…
In truth, Neil deGrasse Tyson has been “part of the problem” for quite some time now. I guess we can speculate that he is an astrophysicist and not a biologist, so his “scientific” musings and, at time, outright intimidation on gender issues lend cause to muse:
Whatthehell happened to the scientific community? And, more importantly, whattthehell has happened to Neil deGrasse Tyson? Wait. We can answer this:
Neil deGrass Tyson has fallen victim to fame and woke ideology and has abandoned science. He is part of the educated, upper-echelon of Americans who vote Blue and think the rest of the country is flat-out stupid. He said so himself in so many Tweets:
Dear fellow human who identifies as scientist,
CONJECTURE
: inference formed without proof or sufficient evidence.
: a conclusion deduced by surmise or guesswork.
: a proposition (as in mathematics) before it has been proved or disproved.
(Merriam-Webster)
Sincerely,
fellow human— M (@MistellaDawn) November 15, 2022
This is why no one “trusts the science” anymore.
Neil deGrasse Tyson is the personification of "Trust the science."
Biased and politically motivated.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is a perfect exhibit of why the left lost. Argumentative avoidance of real answers. Deflection from the topic at hand. A superior, pretentious, arrogant stance on being the morally upright and intellectually superior. These are the educated. These are the ones who believe in science. These are the ones who read. In fact, if we have a civil war here in this country, they’re going to go where the rest of us Trump voters won’t:

Go to the library, they say. We won’t be able to find the library, they say. We don’t know what books are, they say. Don’t go to a Costco or a Cabela’s or a Walmart Supercenter. Go to the library.
and they all repost it like it's the smartest thing they've ever heard.
Oops, I mean reskeet.

They can read about science and all become smarter for the universe. Maybe they can hunker down and read their kids enough books to successfully transition them before the civil war ends. Oh, and let’s not forget, unlimited and endless Drag Queen Story Hours!
Guys? We know where the library is. Most of us dropped our ballots off there.
Bill Maher may be the only one of his ilk able to see the forest for the trees.
As for Neil deGrasse Tyson? He’s long gone.
TYSON: I’m a scientist!
MAHER: You know what? When I get a goiter on Uranus, I’ll call you.
Oh, Neil. I really loved you on Sesame Street and Cosmos. Please go back to parsecs, AUs and angstroms because you were so much better at the science of the universe (even though you may have stolen some stuff from Carl Sagan) than you are this universal ideology BS.
