Now that Liz Cheney has been kicked to the curb by the good and hard-working people of Wyoming, she has decided to go scorched Earth against MAGA Republicans. Cheney has converted her campaign war chest into a Political Action Committee (PAC) named “The Great Task”. Yeah. Big ego.

As soon as Liz stopped giving herself accolades in her concession speech, she filed the Federal Election Commission (FEC) to open her PAC, The Great Task. I as surprised that her website is not up and soliciting funds yet.

Just days after her primary loss in Wyoming, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) announced the creation of a fundraising group focused solely on defeating Trump-backed candidates in the midterm elections.

Through the new political action committee, called “The Great Task,” she will focus on ensuring candidates who have promoted claims the 2020 election was stolen are not elected to Congress in November. Cheney unveiled the PAC on Wednesday, just one day after the Wyoming Republican lost to Trump-backed Harriet Hageman — offering the former president his most high-profile primary win yet against House Republicans who voted to impeach him in 2021.

If Miss Cheney does not believe that there were tons of irregularities in the 2020 election, she is stupid with a capital “STOOP”. States changed election laws without going through the legislatures for one. And, if not believing elections results were a barrier to holding office then there would be a large portion of the current Congress ineligible for their seats.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Liz already has the first three targets for her PAC picked out:

Ms. Cheney, in the interview Sunday, cited as potential targets Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas and Josh Hawley of Missouri, as well as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, all ofhen whom are Republicans with presidential ambitions. Of the two senators, she said that both “took steps that fundamentally threatened the constitutional order and structure in the aftermath of the last election. So, in my view, they both have made themselves unfit for future office.’’

The two senators objected in writing to certifying the results of the 2020 presidential contest. A photograph of Mr. Hawley with a raised fist earlier that day in solidarity with the Trump supporters surrounding the Capitol has become an iconographic image of Jan 6.

A spokesman for Mr. Cruz said, “Sen. Cruz doesn’t need or want soon-to-be-former Rep. Liz Cheney’s endorsement, and he wishes her the best of luck in the 2024 Democrat presidential primary.” A spokesman for Mr. Hawley said, “We wish her the best.” Representatives for Mr. DeSantis didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Poor Liz. Her hatred, bitterness and raging Trump Derangement Syndrome has spun her off the Reservation. The Left can keep her. We don’t want her, her family or any of the Bushes.

Newt Gingrich was on Fox & Friends this morning. He discussed Liz Cheney and her role of moral judge of Republicans being at 1:55:

We are “sick” and in the grips of a “dangerous former President”. She won’t like us when we are angry. Yeah, Newt is right. Seventy-five million Americans are sick and Liz is our moral judge. My Aunt Fanny. The name of her PAC, The Great Task, proves her ego and hubris.

None of us feel sorry for Liz. She is wealthy. She will get a fine job on an anti-Trump network and tons of lobbying work. Just don’t judge us.
