Democrats are desperately seeking a hero. A knight (preferably not White) to come in and rescue them from the swirling abyss of child castration and illegal immigrant adoration. The fickle finger of electoral politic possibilities is now pointing at Maryland’s first term Governor, Wes Moore. To show his boldness, Moore has accused President Donald Trump of having a “lack of seriousness” in dealing with Israel and Iran.
Wes Moore, on paper, is a stellar candidate. Unlike Governor Gavin Newsom, Senator Cory Booker or Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Moore actually has relatable life experiences. From the Wes Moore website:
Wes graduated with an Associate’s Degree from Valley Forge Military College in 1998 and then Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in 2001. As a teenager, he interned for former Baltimore Mayor Kurt Schmoke and then went on to earn a Rhodes Scholarship, which took him to Oxford University.
Inspired by his mentors at military school, Wes went on to serve as a lieutenant and paratrooper with the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne, including leading soldiers in combat in Afghanistan. He also served as a White House Fellow, advising on issues of national security and international relations.

It was Wes’ commitment to taking on our toughest challenges that brought him to the Robin Hood foundation, where he served for four years as CEO. During his tenure, the Robin Hood foundation distributed over $600 million toward lifting families out of poverty, including here in Maryland.
While the Robin Hood foundation is headquartered in New York City, Wes and his family never moved from their home in Baltimore.
Earlier in his career, Wes built and launched a Baltimore-based business called BridgeEdU, which reinvents freshman year of college for underserved students to increase their likelihood of long-term success. BridgeEdu was acquired by the Brooklyn-based student financial success platform, Edquity, in 2018. He has also worked in finance with Deutsche Bank in London and with Citigroup in New York.
Sounds like Wes Moore is a great candidate. Two years into his first term as Governor, he does lack experience in that but by next year he’ll have more to show. However, on Juneteenth he did pardon more low level pot people:

Wes Moore isn’t racist much with that, is he.
So, in keeping with his superstar Dem status, Moore has accused Trump of having a lack seriousness in dealing with Israel and Iran. From Politico:
Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, a combat veteran who led troops in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan, accused President Donald Trump of displaying “a lack of seriousness” in dealing with the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
“As someone who has worn this uniform, and you know, along with my fellow service members risked my life in defense of this country, to see such a free-wheeling conversation about issues of life and death is disappointing,” Moore said in an interview Thursday.
Moore’s comments come a day after Trump said at the White House that he delivered an “ultimate ultimatum” to leaders in Tehran about disarming their nuclear program while also telling reporters “I may do it, I may not do it” with regard to the U.S. striking Iran’s nuclear sites.
On Thursday, the White House said Trump will make a decision on whether to strike Iran within two weeks.
Moore, seen as a rising star in the Democratic Party and a potential 2028 presidential contender, emphasized the huge stakes at play in the ongoing and escalating Mideast conflict.
“These are serious issues and these are very serious times,” Moore said. “The lack of seriousness that is surrounding these conversations, the whole ‘will I-won’t I’ playing games is not helpful to this larger conversation. … These are people’s lives on the line.”
Oh, puh-leeze. After four years where all we got from Biden is “don’t”, Moore has got to be kidding. You cannot overstate how serious Donald Trump is about this. He’s not changing any positions. He’s maintained his positions for decades.
Moore should never talk about a lack of seriousness after he misrepresented earning a Bronze Star. He took responsibility but it was really Republicans fault.
It’s dishonest to say you take responsibility when you blame those evil Republicans. Wes Moore should not be bad mouth Trump and what he lacks.

Wes Moore couldn’t remember if he was awarded a Bronze Star. Guess he didn’t think it was a serious enough issue to check his DD 214.
But, he tells us that President Trump lacks “seriousness” over whether the Supreme Leader gets nuclear weapons.
Does he have anything to say about Presidents Obama and Biden whose international agreement led to this state of affairs?
Sounds a lot like Tampon Tim, the self-described “knucklehead” hand-flapper who assured us that Senator and combat veteran, and now Vice President Vance was “weird”. You can always trust a Democrat’s judgment about people.
Was there ever a time when Democrats talked about issues, rather than just denigrating their Republican opponents? If there was, I can’t remember it — and I’m 73.
