An ACLU questionnaire from 2019 to Kamala Harris surfaced yesterday. Her answers are illuminating. She gives whole hearted support to defunding ICE and paying for gender transition surgeries for illegal immigrants.

Remember when Kamala was appointed to be the Border Czar? Here’s a reason why she’s been AWOL on that issue. 

“Our immigrant detention system is out of control, and I believe we must end the unfair incarceration of thousands of individuals, families and children,” Harris wrote. “I was one of the first Senators after President Trump was elected to advocate for a decrease in funding to ICE.”

Harris appears to be citing her efforts in 2017 to oppose increased ICE funding under Trump.

Harris wrote that in 2018 she had introduced the Detention Oversight, Not Expansion (DONE) Act to, “increase oversight of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facilities, slash detention by at least 50%, and halt funding for the construction or expansion of new facilities.”

Harris also pledged to end the use of ICE detainers – requests by ICE to local or state law enforcement to hold an individual up to 48 hours beyond their release time so ICE can take them into custody for possible deportation.

In the last week, there’ve been multiple verified reports of illegal immigrants who’ve been arrested for rape, assault, and murder. Many of those charged had been deported at least once if not multiple times, yet end up back in the U.S. to commit more crimes.

The school district was NOT NOTIFIED about this gang member and murder suspect who subsequently admitted to four more murders and two rapes. 

Where’s Kamala on this? Silent as a tomb while her campaign minions insist that her values haven’t changed. 

Nope, they haven’t changed one bit and the 2019 ACLU questionnaire is highly instructive as to how socialist her views are. There’s another issue that she’s backing 100%. Any prison inmate or illegal immigrant who decides gender transition is the way to go must be coddled and funded by American taxpayers. 

The then-senator from California affirmed that she would use executive power as president to ensure transgender and non-binary individuals “including those in prison and immigration detention” get access to “all necessary surgical care.”

Harris noted that while the Golden State’s attorney general, she had pushed for the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to offer transgender surgeries to inmates.

“I support policies ensuring that federal prisoners and detainees are able to obtain medically necessary care for gender transition, including surgical care, while incarcerated or detained,” she wrote.

“Transition treatment is a medical necessity, and I will direct all federal agencies responsible for providing essential medical care to deliver transition treatment.”

Folks, keep in mind, these are the answers she provided to the ACLU during her 2019 campaign for President. The one in which she never even made it to the first primary. I sincerely doubt she’s changed her mind on any of the issues.

The policies of the current Biden Harris Administration are a testimony to that.

I wouldn’t put it past her to add that to her policy list. That said, it’s nice that CNN committed a journalism if only briefly. Because the rest of her answers to the ACLU questions are just as disturbing.

There are a great many Democrat-run sanctuary cities who are struggling right now because they won’t honor ICE detainers and are coddling criminals instead of detaining or even deporting them. 

Kamala Harris finally dumped an issues page onto her campaign website. It’s wonderfully worded yet offers nothing substantive. In fact….

I had to stop writing for a few minutes because I was laughing so hard at that. Kamala has nothing new to offer. What she is putting on the table, as it were, is a continuation of the current Biden Harris Administration.  

If these policy stances on defunding ICE and providing taxpayer funded gender transition surgeries for illegal immigrants sounded extreme in 2019, it’s because they were. And they are now. 

Kamala insists her values haven’t changed. Believe her and vote accordingly.
