According to some media reports, Joe’s NATO speech will be THE test to determine if the man is fit for office. The Hill opines thusly:
President Biden’s fitness for office will be put to the test this week during the NATO summit he is hosting in Washington, a high-stakes endurance test that gives the president an opportunity to push back on critics saying he is too old for a second term.
But the frantic debate over Biden’s future — as he tries to contain the fallout from his alarming debate performance last month — risks overshadowing an event aimed at projecting strength against threats from Russia and China.
I really want to know how and where these so-called journalists got their training in spin and gaslighting. As Deanna just told us, House Democrats are flailing and can’t seem to figure out how to manage this very real national crisis. Meanwhile, as NATO convenes, we are all seeing a multitude of reports showing up that tell us world leaders have KNOWN for at least two years that Joe has massive cognitive and health problems
Hell, even Kevin McCarthy knew and said nothing until now. Which really pisses me off.
Back to the media. CNN offered up this gem prior to Joe’s speech.
The NATO summit was long planned to celebrate the alliance’s 75th anniversary, to lock in longterm military support for Ukraine and even to future-proof the West against a possible second term for Donald Trump.
But no one expected the meeting in Washington this week to turn into a public test of 81-year-old President Joe Biden’s health and cognitive capacity with his reelection campaign facing an existential moment after his disastrous debate performance.
Biden’s leadership of NATO and lifeline to Ukraine following Russia’s invasion make him the most significant presidential trustee of the alliance since President George H.W. Bush. But his achievements, including Sweden and Finland’s entry into the group, will be eclipsed at the summit by his battle to save his political future.
The Biden team is frantically tap-dancing about the multiple visits that campaign donor and Parkinson’s expert Dr. Cannard made to the White House within this last year, and CNN can only whine about how this will impact Joe’s foreign policy legacy. You mean the legacy that is being put in place by anyone OTHER than Joe?
We watched in real time as Joe wandered and fumbled his way through the G7 Summit in Italy with a side of head-butting the Pope, and then took well over a week of vacation time to “prep” for the debate. The media and politicos tried to convince us that what we saw wasn’t real. Then the debate happened. And the curtain started coming down.
Now, we have the NATO Summit in DC plowing forward even as we and the entire freaking world knows that Joe Biden is compromised. Yet the Biden White House persists in gaslighting.
For example, AI and Russian disinformation is supposed to be a real concern as to how it will be used to embarrass Joe and cherry-pick his debate performance.

We are electing a LEADER who puts together a team and then LEADS them.
Not a semi-conscious jello dribbler who has a team that takes turns wheeling him from dinner to the 5:30 piano sing-a-long.
That is 100% correct. We aren’t electing a team. That is not how this Republic works. Thus, it’s not only Joe’s leadership (such as it is) but his actual physical and cognitive health that is at issue here. What Joe is capable of is a very real concern here for this country, our allies, and NATO.

Jill “Edith Wilson” Biden, as we know, would LOVE to be the one answering the call. I’m convinced that’s the only reason she’s working to keep Joe in office.
Joe’s NATO speech was a combination of speed, slurring, a bit of yelling, and an angry stare throughout.

We are now pledged to donate more equipment to Ukraine AND that Ukraine will be “at the front of the line.” In other words, Ukraine gets assistance before anyone else.
As expected, Biden announced new air defenses for Ukraine, saying the country would receive “hundreds of interceptors” to protect cities against the kind of missile attacks that collapsed a children’s hospital earlier this week. He said Putin’s forces have seen 350,000 killed and injured. He predicted the war would end with Ukraine staying a free and independent country,’’ he said, but made no mention of what its borders might look like.
Where does that leave Israel?
And then there was a twist at the end. Biden gave NATO President Jens Stoltenberg the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Of course, since it was all teleprompter and very few stumbles, Biden’s handlers and supporters are already claiming that he’s totally fit for office.
