Jayapal Tries To Avoid Hamas Rapes To Complain About Israel

Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-Seattle Progressives) is essentially the Squad’s den mother, with all the the qualifications to boot.

That means that Pramila Jayapal is an unrepentant anti-Semite, which means that as soon as Israel declared war on Hamas after October 7th, she, like the rest of the Squad/Hamas Caucus, immediately pivoted to complain about Israel being unwilling to just accept a massacre and do nothing about it. Jayapal called for a ceasefire TEN DAYS AFTER the massacre, and voted against the resolution supporting Israel. And like so many leftist insitutions, the physical evidence that Hamas left behind of rape and sexual violence – a lot that they helpfully videotaped – is terribly inconvenient. It took nearly two months for the United Nations Women Twitter/X account, that is supposedly championing the rights of women, to actually make a statement (after retracting the first one they issued back in October) about the Jewish women who were brutally raped by Hamas.

And even then, they have to couch it in “both sides” language by including “Palestinian women” in their statement. Excuse me, were women in Gaza being raped until their pelvic bones were broken on October 7th?

Enter Pramila Jayapal, the head of the House Progressive Caucus, who is among the Democrats demanding that Israel acquiesce to a “ceasefire” because they can’t just target Hamas fighters when those same terrorists are hiding among civilians. She was on CNN’s “State of the Union” today with Dana Bash, who – and all credit to Bash – pressed Jayapal about Hamas’s use of rape. In case you’re wondering, Jayapal is definitely a card-carrying “believe all women” Democrat. She is on record having complete faith in Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony, for example. But when it comes to Israeli women being raped, murdered, and kidnapped? Jayapal tried to give Bash the brush-off with a “rape is bad, but Israel is worse” explanation.

Bash and Jayapal spoke on Sunday about the collapse of last week’s truce between Israel and Hamas, as well as the pressure the United Nations has been under to condemn Hamas for the rape and sexual assault their members committed against Israeli women on October 7th. The CNN (anchor) called it “remarkable” that the subject hasn’t been getting more attention, adding “I’ve seen a lot of Progressive women. Generally speaking, they’re quick to defend women’s rights and to speak out against using rape as a weapon of war, but downright silent on what we saw on October 7th and what might be happening inside Gaza right now to these hostages.”

“Why is that?” Bash asked Jayapal.

“I don’t know that that’s true,” Jayapal said. “I think we always talk about the impact of war on women in particular.”

Jayapal insisted that she has “absolutely” kept the topic in mind since Oct. 7 “and I’ve condemned what Hamas has done.”

“Specifically against women?” Bash asked.

“Of course!” Jayapal responded. From there, though, she pivoted to the scrutiny Israel has received over the unprecedented civilian death toll in Gaza while the war against Hamas continues.

If they do not comply with international humanitarian law, they are bringing themselves to a place that makes it much more difficult strategically for them to be able to build allies, to keep public opinion with them, and frankly, morally, I think we cannot say that one war crime deserves another. That is not what international humanitarian law says.

“With respect,” Bash interjected. “I was just asking about the women, and you turned it back to Israel. I’m asking you about Hamas…”

“I already answered your question, Dana,” Jayapal countered. “I said it’s horrific, and I think that rape is horrific. Sexual assault is horrific. I think that it happens in war situations. Terrorist organizations like Hamas obviously are using these as tools. However, I think we have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians. Fifteen thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes, three-quarters of whom are women and children…”

“And it’s horrible,” said Bash, “but you don’t see Israeli soldiers raping Palestinian women.

“I don’t want this to be the hierarchies of oppression,” Jayapal retorted. She continued to warn about the humanitarian crisis caused by the conflict in Gaza, saying “this is not the way that we are going to beat terrorism.”

Wait. “We have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians”??? What happened to “believe all women,” Congresswoman? Especially when, oh, IT’S ON TAPE???

Honestly, what could you expect from someone who vigorously defended Rashida Tlaib’s right to be a genocidal jackass during the censure vote in the House?

Oh, but now, NOW, Jayapal isn’t interested in “the hierarchies of oppression” because the women who were raped and brutalized aren’t part of her “intersectional” priorities. What an absolute stinking hypocrite. What a vile bigot. And kudos to Dana Bash for not letting her get away with her prevaricating during that interview.

Hey Chuck Schumer – remember how you gave a speech about the anti-Semites that decried the rise of anti-Semitism, and pointed out that it’s coming from the left? There’s Pramila Jayapal, trying to pivot away from Hamas’s atrocities because she just loathes Jews THAT MUCH. So, what do you have to say to her, as Senate Majority Leader? It is past time for you to start calling out members of your own party BY NAME for their atrocious anti-Semitism. We’re waiting.

They have “D: after their name, so they’ll always get a pass.. At least until lampposts start getting put to use…

This is what happens when we import thousands of people that do NOT share our values and morals. We’ve imported so many of them (yes, I know it’s all part of the plan) that they are able to elect the worst of their kind to positions of power, where they can further their agenda of destroying America.

Most of the people deconstructing society, whether it is crime and disorder, or anti-Semitism, are native born. If it weren’t for woke Americans Jaypal, Onar and Tlaib would be ignored. Critical theory and intersectionality is pushed by Americans.

  • Skillyboo says:

So Jaypal is more concerned with 15,000 Palestinians killed, so where are the mass graves? I believe that the fawning Palestinian loving media would be all over it. As would Hamas, they’d be filling social media with endless videos.

    • Scott says:

Watch the videos closely.. it’s Paliwood, the same actors over and over.. they got one dude that was a seriously injured victim one day, a medical tech the next, then a reporter, and the list goes on.. it’s ALL propaganda.

      • GWB says:

You forgot to mention the babies that are really dolls, or the gruesome one several years ago, where they carted a dead child from spot to spot in some rubble so they could get all sorts of angles and make it seem like more than one child (who was almost assuredly dead from some other cause) had been killed in whatever retaliatory strike Israel had launched.

Or the AP “stringer” who shot the pics of the Palestinian gunman “protecting” the child.

And the bad photoshop of the blast cloud pasted multiple times into the same photo to make the attack look larger than it was.

If they do not comply with international humanitarian law
They are, you bint. Heck, they’re over-complying, doing things they’re not required by international law to do – just to try and keep harpies like yourself off their back.

“I don’t want this to be the hierarchies of oppression,”
Of course you don’t. Because actually following your own rules would make you unable to destroy Israel and America.

Fifteen thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes, three-quarters of whom are women and children…
Pure, unadulterated bullcarp. Also, if 3/4 of those killed are women and children, then that means Hamas is 3/4 women and children.
I won’t believe any “pushback” against the Hamas Caucus (which sounds like a name for a new species of reptile) until the reporter is saying something like, “Oh, stop, already with the propaganda, you lying scrunt. Just turn her mic off. We’re not going to broadcast Hamas taqqiya on my show.”

    Keep in mind
IOW, she wants Israel to just lay down and die.
