Jamie Raskin is nothing if not consistent. He is always a rat hack and determined to lead the Democrats in resistance. He has a permanent sneer and the disposition of a fire ant. For the second time, he has determined to fight Jerrold Nadler for a Democrat leadership position. This time for Judiciary. Last time was for the Rules Committee. Jamie was one of the Impeachment Managers prosecuting Trump and on the January 6 Committee so he believes it’s time for his star turn.

Here at Victory Girls Blog, we make it a point not to drag folks on their unfortunate looks. But, come on. Raskin looks like he doesn’t walk as much as he slithers. He just looks like we should be glad he doesn’t have a flip-top head and we could see the amount of ugly in there. I got a huzz just thinking about it.
The New York Times seemed thrilled about Raskin challenging Jerry Nadler aka Old Poopy Pants. It’s time for the youth and vigor of Jamie (61) versus Jerry (77). Dear Lord.
Representative Jamie Raskin of Maryland announced on Monday that he was challenging Jerrold Nadler, Democrat of New York, for the party’s top post on the Judiciary Committee, a move that came after pressure from Democrats concerned they were not properly equipped to push back against efforts by President-elect Donald J. Trump to test the limits of his power.
“House Democrats must stand in the breach to defend the principles and institutions of constitutional democracy,” Mr. Raskin wrote in a letter to his colleagues announcing his run.
Mr. Raskin, currently the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, said that the Judiciary Committee was “where we will wage our frontline defense of the freedoms and rights of the people.” He vowed to make the Judiciary Committee “the headquarters of congressional opposition to authoritarianism” and any attempts by Mr. Trump and his supporters to attack the Constitution and the rule of law.
That last paragraph could make one wretch. When you read the whole letter, it is much more vile:
