Weeks upon weeks have gone by and no one has really brought up much about what is happening in Iran.
Admittedly, our media and journalists have had a lot of other distractions. A Super Bowl Halftime performer who did his whole set in Spanish. The missing mother of a high-profile daytime talkshow star. The “unjust” killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Keeping ICE and “terror” out of our cities.
While our Democratic lawmakers are encouraging protestors in the streets, protestors are also being killed. In Iran. In their hospital beds.
Deadly force and gunfire in the streets. Now, the regime is killing protestors who have been hospitalized at the bedside.
Iranian thugs are executing of anti-regime protesters with wanton and brutal abandon — even murdering wounded demonstrators lying in hospital beds.
Horrifying footage is being shared inside Iran of security forces raiding hospitals to look for those wounded during last month’s protests, where thousands of others were killed in the brutal crackdown.“-Ronny Reyes, The New York Post
In fact, more than 207 people were executed in the past two weeks. With more to come from the Iranian regime.
A second massacre—worse than the street killings—is looming in prisons. Many face execution without trial.

They were in hospitals, with IV lines or breathing tubes attached to them.
And then, when you look closely, you realize they were shot in the head. They were executed — given the final shot — inside the hospital.”
And, good luck to the attorneys and medics attempting to help these protestors that are being held by the regime. Many have found themselves at risk of retaliations.
In line with increasing the atmosphere of repression and public intimidation, the executioner regime has proceeded to arrest a number of lawyers, physicians, and medical staff, which indicates its increasing terror of the people’s courageous uprising last January.”-No to Execution Tuesdays Campaign
But these executions have been going on for a while.
Yesterday was Tuesday. Somewhere, in a prison in Iran, or in a hospital, a person was killed by the Iranian regime. I’m willing to wager here that more than one person was executed yesterday.
Our President says the executions have been halted…but there are reports to the contrary. Sadly, the Democrats helped fund this regime back in 2015 (we’re looking at you, Barack) and now, they’re shooting people in the head. In hospitals. Because they protested and resisted TRUE oppression.
I work with a man who came from Iran with his family. As non-Muslim Persians, they fled oppression and religious persecution when he was just nine years old. He would get beaten at school and was forced to read the Qu’ran. He is now 32 and loves America. He would never want to live anywhere else. This guy got more decked out in Red, White and Blue on Independence Day week than any of us in our office. His purchase of explosives on the 4th of July put everyone else to shame.
I honestly know why the news is avoiding these tales from the utter crap hole that is Iran. It will blow their biased anti-Trump narrative out of the water. The media machine cannot spin the yarn to make themselves and the Democrats look nothing but pathetic after crafting the gargantuan fable about the Big, Orange Monster lurking from within who came back to haunt us for four more years. They can’t run the narrative that the Trump Administration (or the Regime, as they call it) is an “oppressive dictatorship” and run a TRUE STORY about a REAL oppressive dictatorship. They can’t run tape of Democrats telling people to “go out and protest” and tell ICE to “get the f— out” and cover the story of hundreds of women, men and yes, even children being slaughtered on foreign soil because they spoke up against true tyranny. They cannot talk about true victims when they’re too busy making victims out of two individuals who made a conscious choice to obstruct law enforcement and, sadly, died as a result. They cannot talk about true victims of atrocities when they are too busy drumming into the pea-sized brains of the blue-haired, septum-pierced Karens that are chucking dildos at cars at protests that they are also true victims. They cannot promote a VERY Muslim (Socialist) mayor of one our major American cities who quotes the Qu’ran on the regular, as the best thing since Barack Obama, juxtaposed with the happenings in Iran, beats students with the Qu’ran.
And it’s not just our talking bobbleheads on TV or our journalists penning the daily articles that sway the malleable American mind. It’s our culture in general. Where are George and Amal Clooney in the face of these tragedies in Iran? Women and children are being slaughtered and their silence is deafening. However, I am certain George and his insufferable Hollywood elite cronies will have a few things to say about ICE at the Oscars next month. Mark. My. Words. Iran will not be mentioned, I assure you.
In short, it’s easier to distract with 24-7 news coverage about Savannah Guthrie’s mom. (Side bar: even though Savannah was kind of a snoot in college, I am keeping her in my prayers and I do hope they find Nancy alive and well. I would not wish that heartache on anyone.) It’s easier in the world we live in to talk about Releasing the Epstein Files, or whether or not we liked Bad Bunny’s performance or Billie Eilish and her dumbass remarks, or the Anti-American yutzes at the Winter Olympic Games.
The atrocities in Iran are the inconvenient truth our news cycle and pop culture does not want to unearth because they may cause all of us, collectively, as Americans, to take a good look around and maybe thank God we’re here and not there. In reality, if more Americans knew, maybe they would adopt a different perspective on life here in the U.S.A. I have hope that not everyone is that far gone over here.
