Iowa Teacher: Your Kids Belong to Me and CRT

Earlier this month, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a bill into law that would ban the teaching of critical race theory in her state, which she described as “indoctrination education.” Legislators from the state praised the law, including IA Rep. Ashley Hinson, who’s also a mom:

“As a mom of two school children in Iowa, I’m glad Gov. Reynolds banned critical race theory in our schools.”

But not all is well in Iowa, especially among the far-left loons who indoctrinate teach children in the state. One of those is Megan Geha, a special education teacher at Des Moines East High School. Geha, who calls herself “Mrs. Magoo” in the classroom, uses TikTok to express how angry she is at the Iowa governor and at the non-woke in general.

So Geha ranted about how the ban on CRT is “bullshit” while she tells like-minded teachers that “This is a call to action.”

“So, teachers, in the past, we’ve been activists, and after this sh**show of last year, we really need to stand up and do what’s right for our kids right now. This is a call to action. We need to stand up and fight for our kids because this is bulls**t.”

What is it about lunatic teachers who think that the children in their classrooms are “their” kids? Earth to space — these children belong to families who pay your salary with their taxpayer money. You do not own them. You have no right to fill their skulls with propaganda their parents wouldn’t approve of.

But that’s not all. Geha also does not approve of Iowa forcing her to conduct the Pledge of Allegiance in the morning.

“The other thing that my governor has mandated for next year is that every classroom, it’s mandatory that we all have an American flag, and it is mandatory that we all do the Pledge of Allegiance every morning. You’re going to be hearing from me a lot next year.”

Finally, here are these videos with Megan Geha in full eye-rolling batshit mode, complete with condescension dripping from every word as she tells you how you ignoramuses need to “educate yourselves.”  She also declares that “we need to tear the systems down.” You can see how she reserves her greatest contempt for white men.

What is it with these women? They all have the same look: crazy eyes, nose ring, frumpy style. Someone over at Twitter assumed she owns cats, but I also have cats, so let’s not go there, m’kay?

But let’s find out more about Mrs. Magoo, shall we?

First of all, she didn’t want to return to school last fall, according to a Des Moines Register article from August, 2020. They also featured a picture of Geha posing — all folded arms and Resting Bitch Face — in front of her house in Ames, Iowa. Geha told the Register that she has a compromised immune system and thus received approval to work from home throughout the 2020-21 school year. So she continued to teach virtually, but was prepared to quit her job. All because of that cruel Iowa governor who wanted to reopen schools:

“I don’t know if I would have resigned, but it’s definitely something I would have considered.”

There’s also information about Megan Geha at MyLife.com. Now I can’t confirm the accuracy of this information, but if true, it says a lot:

“We have lots of information about Megan: religious views are listed as Muslim, ethnicity is Middle Eastern American, and political affiliation is unknown. We know that Megan is single at this point. . . .Megan has a reported annual income of $90 – 99,999.”

So Mrs. Magoo earns over 90K per year from the good people of Iowa to indoctrinate their children with her spiteful, hateful, racist views. Not only that, but she teaches that dreck to special education students.

Now I used to work as a speech pathologist in a public school district — fortunately I left long before the current lunacy began infecting schools. But I do know a lot about kids with impairments who might have communication disabilities, or learning problems, or perhaps are on the autism scale. I know that they need to learn skills to help them adapt into society to the maximum of their abilities. These functional skills are particularly important to students in high school — the level at which Geha teaches. Critical race theory does not help these kids. Period. End of story. And if CRT hinders kids in the regular classrooms from learning skills like math and reading, think of how this impacts kids with unique educational needs.

Fortunately, parents in districts are waking up to this insidious indoctrination that crackpots like Megan Geha are foisting upon their children. She should be fired. The unfortunate problem is that her union probably stands up for her.

Parents, continue the revolt.

They’re man hating lunatics who only can get effete males to go out with them. Public school teachers should lose their teaching credentials if their students know their political leanings. If they want to indoctrinate then teach at private schools where parents are aware of your biases.

    • GWB says:

Especially since they are NOT political leanings, Skillyboo, but religious ones. It is a comprehensive worldview, with doctrines and authority accepted on faith, and a need for unquestioning obedience.

  • GWB says:

after this sh**show of last year
Which is entirely the doing of your ilk, sweetcheeks.

do what’s right for our kids
Now, this has been a phrase (“our kids”) for a long time, and it’s understandable since teachers are in loco parentis (much more “loco” than “parentis” the last number of years) for a goodly chunk of the day and they rightly feel some responsibility for those children in their care.
But, yeah, it’s definitely become a bridge too far.

she tells you how you ignoramuses need to “educate yourselves.”
Honey, I can guarantee I’m much more educated than you. I’ve probably read more books, studied more topics, researched more diverse subjects than you’ve dreamed of. Oh, and I’ve actually educated myself AND my child (as well as other children and adults).

“We need to tear the systems down”
Why is anyone advocating that allowed to work within said systems? Are you people f***ing stupid, or what?

all folded arms and Resting Bitch Face
Oh, I don’t think her B**** Face is ‘resting’. I think it’s an active, malignant, intentional B**** Face.

Not only that, but she teaches that dreck to special education students.
Well, it’s much easier to fill their brains with the mush of Progressivism?

Critical race theory does not help these kids.
There is one and only one group of kids it does help: the bullies.

    She should be fired.
Actually, I’m torn between “sent to a cult deprogramming camp” and “run out of town on a rail.”

This all may be some sort of set-up….I saw the same thing this morning on another site that said she was in Texas….

    • Kim Hirsch says:

I saw that too, but the mistake was with an early post identifying her as being in Texas. On other TikTok videos she rants against the IA Gov. Kim Reynolds. She does live in Ames, Iowa, and works in Des Moines.

  • ROP says:

Why are we the only country on earth that lets our children be taught to hate there country

  • Dana says:

    Here is the problem:

“So, teachers, in the past, we’ve been activists, and after this sh**show of last year, we really need to stand up and do what’s right for our kids right now. This is a call to action. We need to stand up and fight for our kids because this is bulls**t.”

Teachers should not be activists, they should not be trying to change things from within the classroom. If the schools are allowing this, the school boards need to get rid of the ‘activist’ teachers, get rid of the administrators who are allowing it, and if the school board won’t do this, it’s up to sensible parents to replace the school board.

  • Ann in L.A. says:

One simple step to remove this problem: allow alternate certification of teachers, which doesn’t require them to go to far-leftist-controlled education schools.

Many 60’s radicals, like Bill Ayers, ended up as professors of education, indoctrinating all our teachers with this claptrap. Studies have repeatedly shown that teachers who get to the classroom by alternate pathways, and without an ed-school approved teaching certificate, do just as well in the classroom as those with the guild’s seal of membership. You will never root out leftist indoctrination in our schools, until you change the schools that teach teachers.

  • […] Race Theory has spread like a cancer throughout our school systems.  As our own Kim Hirsch wrote in a piece just a couple of months ago, many teacher’s truly believe OUR children belong to […]
