Much has been made about Brittney Griner shaking hands with the Merchant of Death, Viktor Bout. Joe Biden claims it as a win in his column. Victor Bout is on a media tour in RUSSIA praising Vladimir Putin and the War on Ukraine AND dissing American prison food. As Nina told you this morning, Congressreptile Sheila Jackson-Lee thinks letting the Merchant of Death out of prison early was just groovy. Oy. We have two more years of this utter shite.

At this point it’s necessary to remind everyone:

“On a personal level is he a friendly guy, but he has empirically had poor judgment particularly on foreign policy … the examples are numerous,” Robert Charles said Friday on “Fox and Friends.”

“Interestingly, Robert Gates in his book who criticizes almost nobody … noted that ‘Joe Biden has been wrong on almost every foreign policy and national security issue for the last four decades.’”

With the Griner/Bout exchange, Joe has proven this quote as axiomatic. So let me show you what the legacy media won’t. Predictably, the Kremlin mouthpieces, just like the White House mouthpieces here, spread the party narrative. Here is what you (Russians) must believe because we tell you. The Russian media says the “American people” chose the Black Lesbian, drug addict over the American hero. Here you go:

Everyone, including the Russians, keeps calling Paul Whelan an American hero. He is not. He received a Bad Conduct Discharge, aka big chicken dinner, from the Marines. He is an American citizen along with the other citizens held in RUSSIA.

The latest contretemps regarding this lopsided prisoner exchange is the handshake. Was there a handshake? If there was, who edited it out of the video. This is from Townhall:

In the short video, Griner, who is accompanied by three Russian men, heads towards Bout, who was walking with an American man. When both parties approached each other the men with Griner greeted Bout, shaking hands and hugging. Critics noticed that the video then jumps to Griner walking away with the American man Bout came off the plane with.

What happened? Why cut the video? Critics guessed it may have shown Griner shaking hands with the “Merchant of Death,” who has been described by US officials as “one of the most dangerous men on the face of the earth.”

Before I show you the video, Griner is the tall one in red and Bout is wearing gray and carrying a large yellow envelope. Of particular note, the man in the khaki pants and sunglasses is Paul Carstens with the U.S. Department of State. Three Russian men accompanied Brittney from the forced labor (slave) camp to Abu Dhabi and turned her over to Carstens. The video:

Look who gives a feather if Brittney Griner shook hands with Victor Bout? Victor says Brittney wanted to shake his hand:

“She wanted to shake my hand,” Bout told RT in the interview. “You could feel that she was really positive.”

“Again, it’s our tradition. You should wish everyone good fortune and happiness,” Bout added, according to Reuters.

An video circulated by Russian media last week showed both Griner and Bout walking past each other, with one of the three men accompanying Griner going over to shake hands and hug Bout as both parties went their separate ways.

I don’t think she knew who Bout was. Her head was spinning. The three Kremlin agents with her may not have told her anything, IF she speaks Russian. I would shake hands and kiss everyone around me. I would kiss a Commie I would be so happy.

It’s all good. Griner is playing basketball while she recuperates at the IHG on Fort Sam Houston:

The Merchant of Death is dissing Biden, praising Putin and the War in Ukraine and jonesing to get back into business. We have two more years of this idiocy.
