Hunter Biden and his attorneys are calling for criminal probes into the people who revealed the contents of that infamous laptop of his.
But hold on — does that mean that Hunter is ‘fessing up that it really belonged to him after all?
Yes indeed. In fact, on the same day he called for the probe, Biden acknowledged ownership of the device. But more about that later.
On Wednesday, Hunter Biden and his team fired off a host of letters to various government agencies, including the Attorney General for Delaware, the Department of Justice, and the IRS. They’re demanding investigations into those they claim trafficked “stolen” information from the laptop — many of whom are figures on the right.
They also plan to sue Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

A source told CBS News:
“He is not going to sit quietly by as questionable characters continue to violate his rights and media organizations peddling in lies try to defame him.”
As regards Carlson, the Biden team is demanding that the TV host retract statements that he made about the younger Biden allegedly paying “rent” to his father in what Carlson described as a “money laundering scheme.”
Meanwhile, the letter to the Delaware Attorney General is targeting John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the laptop repair who discovered that Hunter Biden was the owner. Biden had dropped off the laptop for data recovery in April, 2019, but never returned to collect it. Meanwhile, Mac Isaac became alarmed at some of its contents. So he reported it to the FBI, but they didn’t take possession of the device until December. Meanwhile, Mac Isaac had made a copy of the hard drive and gave it to Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump’s attorney.

In the letter to AG Kathy Jennings, Team Biden attorney Abbe Lowell wrote:
“This failed dirty political trick directly resulted in the exposure, exploitation, and manipulation of Mr. Biden’s private and personal information. Mr. Mac Isaac’s intentional, reckless and unlawful conduct allowed for hundreds of gigabytes of Mr. Biden’s personal data, without any discretion, to be circulated around the Internet.”
Whereupon Mac Isaac’s attorney Brian Della Rocca fired back:
“After skimming the letters, the only thing I see is a privileged person hiring yet another high-priced attorney to redirect attention away from his own unlawful actions.”
Hunter Biden has gone from “there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence,” to admitting that the laptop was indeed his. So now Biden has gone into full victim mode. The right wing has invaded his privacy, and they’re going after him to get to his father.
As the reader will recall, it was the New York Post which broke the story of the Hunter Biden laptop-from-hell. Yet Brian Stelter at CNN was certain that it was a “manufactured scandal.” “This is a classic example of the right-wing media machine,” he told viewers.
Politico reported that over 50 former senior intelligence officials signed a letter stating that the laptop story “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
And of course, Rep. Adam Schiff cried Russia! Russia! Russia! while discussing the laptop story with Wolf Blitzer on CNN.
“FBI & DOJ concur w/ Ratcliffe that Hunter Biden's laptop & the emails in question weren't part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
Adam Schiff last Friday:

Meanwhile Papa Joe called the laptop scandal a “smear campaign.”

Now particularly sordid new revelations have emerged which show that Hunter Biden was no different than Harvey Weinstein.
On Tuesday, the British Daily Mail published text messages between 52-year-old Hunter Biden and his 29-year-old assistant in which he demanded video sex before he would pay her. Deanna related the story on Wednesday.
Why, these revelations are despicable! wailed the New York Magazine Intelligencer. “The Latest Hunter Biden Revelation Is a New Low.”
Oh, spare me. I am no defender of Donald Trump, but you know that if this had been either Don Jr. or Eric Trump engaging in similar behavior, the mainstream media would be shouting it across the country.
PJ Media writer Jim Treacher also asked:
“When does Hunter Biden get cancelled?”
Treacher continued, wondering why Biden should be treated any differently than comedian Louis CK:
“If exploiting your wealth and fame to jerk off in front of women is enough to get you cancelled, why should this guy get a pass?”
Biden defenders can protest that this was “consensual sex” between Biden and his assistant, but didn’t the #MeToo crowd tell us that sex can never truly be consensual when there is a power differentiation? Exhibit A: I give you the monster Harvey Weinstein.
Instead — crickets from the #MeToo women.
Like his father Joe, Hunter Biden grew up in the Catholic faith. I’m not sure how religious he is anymore, but instead of consulting his attorneys, he should find a priest and make some heartfelt confession. He should also obtain therapy for his raging drug and sex addictions.
Yes, Hunter had a childhood marked by trauma and loss. But we can all name people who have had terrible things happen in their lives, too, and yet have risen above their tragedies.
However, political power brokers were willing to indulge his outlandish behavior simply because of his last name. He’s a Biden, so he gets a pass, with throaty defense by Democrats and high-priced lawyers.
Hunter Biden can file all the lawsuits he wants to take down his political nemeses. However, it won’t heal what is truly broken in his soul.

Deborah B says: I am not sure why you brought the Catholic faith into this at all. ” I am not sure how religious he is….” Are you kidding? This man has never professed to be a devout Catholic unlike his lyin’ father (and a certain former Madame Speaker) who try to use their faith as tissue paper shields. Being raised in any faith is no guarantee of rectitude. It is clear that Hunter long ago turned his back on God and any sort of morality or ethics and his soul is headed for destruction. He more likely needs an exorcism.
