Well Merry freaking Christmas to you too, John Boehner and Congress of ill-repute. I never realized that all I truly wanted for Christmas was my two front teeth knocked out and a lump of coal shoved into my threadbare stocking. I’m not sure what kind of “toys and goodies” workshop evil Santa Boehner and his malicious little elves are running, but it’s got Made In Corporate America stamped all over it. How jolly Congress must feel today after hitching up their team of RINOs and Jackasses and flying their “Ominous” Bill to HRH Obama this past Saturday. We the Peons whose opinions, rights, and votes are obviously held in utter contempt by most of our representatives await with bitterness and anger the flourish of the Monarchical pen.
Most Americans did not want HRH Obama’s illegal amnesty for five million (well, more like 11 million but who’s counting) illegal aliens here unlawfully, and they said so emphatically at the midterm elections. The Ominous Bill now sitting or soon-to-be sitting on the Grinch who stole destroyed everything’s desk appears to be gleefully awaiting his signature. According to The Daily Caller a few days ago:
“The GOP’s draft 2015 “omnibus” spending bill reportedly includes $948 million to help poor and unskilled Central American migrants establish themselves in the United States, but includes no effective restrictions on President Barack Obama’s plan to provide work permits and tax payments to millions of resident illegal immigrants.”
There is language in the bill that says that it will only be funded until March when the GOP holds the majority in both the House and the Senate, but like Senator Ted Cruz, I’m not holding my breath. The Blaze reported this Monday:
“DHS funding will expire on February 27, which reflects the GOP’s fallback plan of forcing Congress to vote again on DHS early next year, when Republicans rule the Senate.
But while that plan was supposed to be the compromise that allowed some Republicans to vote for a spending bill without any limitation on Obama, Cruz late last week openly questioned whether Republicans will be tough enough to use their leverage on spending to stop Obama.”
The other mandate on election day during midterms was to repeal Obamacare. Not so fast, says our erstwhile Congress. As a matter-of-fact, they not only funded it through September 15th of next year, they also threw in another 1 billion to help enforce Obamacare. I guess we will need 1 billion or more at least to take care of all those new illegal citizens. NRO recently reports:
“An increase of more than $80.7 million in the Department of Health and Human Services’ Departmental Management account, to enforce the new insurance mandates and regulations created in the law. This $80 million “plus-up” is also significantly higher than the $44.9 million increase proposed in Democrats’ year-long CR. (Provision found on page 1015 of the legislation.)
An increase of over $175.9 million in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ Program Management account, to implement the massive Medicaid expansion and cuts to Medicare Advantage. (Provision found on pages 1000-1001 of the legislation.)”
The old saying Follow the Money couldn’t hold truer than with the motley crew that sits in the legislative body of the people. According to this unbelievably traitorous and gluttonous bill, corporate donations have now gone from $37,000 to $737,000. Rush Limbaugh had this to say on his theory for such egregious allowances. Rush this past Friday:
“It used to be a limit of $37,000. Now it’s $737,000, something. It’s incredible. But the point of it, do you know why it’s in there? You know why? The Republicans put it in. You know why it’s in there, folks? This is how corporate America’s gonna defeat the Tea Party. By allowing limitless donations from that crowd under the rubric that it’s campaign finance and money is speech and freedom of speech and First Amendment. The theory is that Main Street, Tea Party people can’t come close to competing with corporate money.
So it is a Republican establishment ploy that kind of dovetails nicely with Obama sicking the IRS on the Tea Party to basically eliminate them as a viable threat by relaxing a registration in Dodd-Frank that pretty much permits corporations to spend any kind of money they want on politics.”
I for one am glad that we do still have people not bought and paid for in Congress. People like Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX), Mike Lee (R-UT), Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Tim Scott (R-SC), 22 Senators in total that held their ground and voted “Yea” against Obama’s executive action on immigration to keep the Omnibus Bill from even being voted on because it did not defund illegal amnesty.
They had the steadfastness to stand by what the GOP promised to their voters back in November. The Washington Examiner spin in this article would have one believe these 22 Senators don’t play the right kind of political game and that forcing a vote on the legality of Obama’s illegal amnesty was nothing but a worthless stunt. I beg to differ. What these 22 Senators did Saturday called the RINOs out on the carpet and put them on the record. And as far as I’m concerned, for the record, these “hoes” gotta go.
In recent years I’ve felt the US resembled Weimar Germany in a lot of ways. Now I’m thinking instead that it looks a lot like Spain in the run up to 1936. We’re going to need a Franco to clean up the mess this nation has become the way things are going.
People who are willing to sacrifice the Judeo-Christian cornerstone our western society is founded on only have themselves to blame when everything falls apart. The vacuum will always be filled with one insidious ideology after another which tears apart the cohesiveness of our culture and thus results in the division of a nation’s population. War has no choice but to ultimately ensue. America could very well begin to look like what was Yugoslavia in the future if this progressive multiculturalism and societal engineering is not stopped. This is suicide for our country. We need to pray for our nation.
“Progressive multiculturalism”-this is a fabulous term. A perfect way to describe terminal societal cancer.
Touche, ABTW: “Terminal Societal Cancer”.
The fact that Cruz could get ONLY 22 repubs to vote on his motion is telling…..
