CBS New York reporter Tony Aiello discovered this sign at Hofstra University, the site of tonight’s debate.

Here is his tweet about it.

People were rightly stunned.

Aiello then pointed where the sign was located.

So, did the university put this sign up, or did MTV put this sign up? Either is possible. MTV, once known for being revolutionary and groundbreaking, might have just been reduced to putting out “trigger warnings.” It’s a good thing they don’t play music videos anymore, or they would have to put trigger warnings on air all the time.

Hofstra University on Long Island, New York, where parents send their kids to be educated.

That anyone thought this sign was necessary speaks volumes about the value of a college education at Hofstra University.
