After CNBC showed its utter lack of anything that resembles professionalism following “moderation” of its GOP debate last October, the venue once again returns to FOX Business. You know, where the pros ask substantive questions, elicit thoughtful answers, and don’t goad the candidates into a food fight reminiscent of Animal House. Last time the network did a phenomenal job, and this go-round will prove no different. So here’s the down and dirty on how to watch:

  • How to watch:
    • DirectTV: Channel 359
    • Dish Network: Channel 206
    • Click here to find the cable channel in your area.
    • Watch live streaming here. No authentication is required.
    • You can also watch on the Fox News Channel App. If you don’t currently have it, you can install it on your tablet or mobile device here.
  • When: Thursday, January 14
  • Where: North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina
  • Time: The Undercard begins at 6 p.m. ET; the Main Event starts at 9 p.m. ET

It’s unfortunate that two of the most interesting candidates—Paul and Fiorina—have been relegated to the proverbial kiddie table. Tonight offers the perfect opportunity to address the unacceptable treatment of our ten sailors at the hands of Iran, and with the acquiescence of the please-sir-kick-me-again Obama Administration. And they both bring diverse voices to the debate, and a perceived outsider status that many of us are craving this election cycle. Unfortunately, Paul has decided not to participate in the undercard, identifying himself as a top tier candidate:

Of course, that’s his decision, and his point is more than valid, but I’ll miss the alternative vision for America that he brings to the table. As fellow Victory Girl, Jennifer, voiced yesterday: Should the GOP prevail this fall, the newly minted POTUS would do well to offer Senator Paul a spot in the new administration.

So. Let the games begin! And may the odds be ever in our fay-vuh.
