Whether the protestors rioters want to realize it or not, all their whining and crying won’t change a thing. All the idiotic selfish naval gazing by the media (who still doesn’t understand why Hillary lost), won’t change anything either. Guess what folks, its time for a major reality check.
Four people were killed and 17 others were injured in a deadly Taliban suicide bomb attack inside Bagram Airfield, the large U.S. military base in Afghanistan.
That’s correct. We are still at WAR. The terrorists are still at war against us and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
It is being reported that the suicide bomber was somehow able to infiltrate the base masquerading as a day laborer.
The bomber was near the DFAC (dining facility) when he detonated his suicide vest, killing four and wounding 17 others.
“I am deeply saddened to learn that an explosion early this morning at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan has resulted in U.S. casualties,” said Defense Secretary Ash Carter in a statement today.
“An apparent suicide bomber has taken the lives of two U.S. servicemembers and two U.S. contractors working on the base,” said Carter. “The explosion wounded 16 other U.S. servicemembers and one Polish soldier participating in our NATO mission.”
He added: “I want to express my sincere condolences to the families of the fallen, and I want to reassure the loved ones of those injured that they are getting the best possible care.”
Four Americans, two soldiers and two contractors had their lives taken by a Taliban terrorist. Families of the fallen are negatively and permanently affected by their loss. Below are just two examples of what each of those families face in the days ahead.
For the wounded, they are dealing with hospital stays, potentially long term physical therapy, and more.
The attack at Bagram earlier today should serve as a reminder to all. No matter anyone’s dissatisfaction at the results of the presidential election, the world is continuing on in spite of you.
Taliban says it spent 4 months plotting deadly attack on US troops at Bagram. DoD can't shortchange force protection as footprint shrinks https://t.co/OUYnNeVNJe

The reality is, the Taliban and terrorism have not gone away. They planned this solely to attack and kill Americans. To them it doesn’t matter which President is in office. They want us all dead, and we ALL need to remember that.
All of us here at Victory Girls are praying for the families of the fallen and for the swift recovery of those injured.
