Yesterday, Thomas Homan, former Director of ICE appeared before the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship. The subcommittee chair is a second term congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, a committed Resist-type with a virulent case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Homan was not taking any guff from this hateful racist. It was beautiful, man!

The first thing you need to know about this Seattle representative is that she is part of the #AbolishIce crowd, as the Seattle Times reported. And, as part of her high-grade Trump Derangement Syndrome, she has called for the impeachment of President Donald Trump. The first time that I can find Jayapal calling for Trump’s impeachment was in November, 2017. There is her background. Troubling, right?

The Thursday subcommittee hearing was titled “The Expansion and Troubling Use of ICE Detention.” Jayapal is an immigrant, who came here on a student visa. From her website:

Representative Jayapal was born in India, grew up in India, Indonesia and Singapore, and came to the United States by herself at the age of 16 to attend college at Georgetown University. She later received her MBA from Northwestern University, worked in a number of industries in both the public and private sector, and published her first book in 2000, Pilgrimage to India: A Woman Revisits Her Homeland.

One might think that, given that Jayapal had to do some paperwork to stay in this country, she would have some appreciation for immigration laws. One would be wrong.

So, what was it that set Thomas Homan off at this abortion of a hearing? From the Daily Wire.com:

During the House Judiciary Committee’s hearing on immigrant detention facilities, Jayapal criticized the Trump administration for skirting Congressional authority and financing agency operations with millions of dollars that were initially slated for other functions.

This has been the historically ignorant Democrats script since Trump was inaugurated. Obama never separated families. Obama never put kids in cages. Thomas Homan wasn’t having it. Again, from the Daily Wire:

“I’d like to remind you that under the Obama administration we did that most of the years he was president. We moved money around [the Department of Homeland Security] — it’s called reprogramming,” Homan responded. “We did that under the Obama administration and I don’t remember any hearings on that.”

Homan also fired back over Democrats’ seeming outrage regarding family separation. During the Obama administration, the federal courts ruled that the government is prohibited from detaining children for longer than 20 days. Since the 20-day window is generally not long enough to process the detained families, children and their accompanying adults are consequently separated as not to violate what is referred to as the Flores Settlement Agreement. However, Democrats have been lambasting Trump for residing over policies that keep children in cages.

And, that is when Pramila Jayapal decided that Thomas Homan’s time was up. Let’s go to the videotape:

I know you are all out there giving the retired ICE Director a standing ovation. He schooled Jayapal the way we wish all Conservatives would. Mr. Homan receives this week’s Honeybadger Award. Jayapal got schooled, but did she take the lesson? Hale to the no. This was her racist response:
