At least one person is dead, and eight others wounded, as a crowd of pedestrians were hit by a man driving a van, who may have been targeting the exiting crowd leaving the Finsbury Park Mosque in London.

The Muslim Council of Britain called this an “intentional” attack.
Shocked and outraged to hear a van has intentionally run over worshippers leaving #Ramadan night prayers on Seven Sisters Road #FinsburyPark

The eyewitness reports are terrible.
An eyewitness told how he jumped out the way of the van as it struck.
He said: “He just came into all of us. There was a lot of people. We got told to move straight away.
“I was shocked, shocked, shocked. There were bodies around me.
“Thank God I just moved to the side. I just jumped. Everyone is hurt. Everyone is actually hurt.”
Another who lives in a flat on Seven Sisters Road told the BBC she saw people “shouting and screaming”.
Metropolitan Police arrested a 48 year old man, allegedly the driver of the van. If he was indeed targeting the mosque, it would have been easy to do so after the Ramadan services.
Several hundred worshippers would have been in the area at the time after attending prayers as part of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
Police said the Counter Terrorism Command was investigating the crash. Britain’s terrorist alert has been set at “severe” meaning an attack is highly likely.
This is looking more and more like a copycat revenge terror attack.

Obviously, we will not know anything more until there are official police press conferences, but obviously this attacker should be punished to the full extent of the law. In the meantime, the nearby community is attempting to come together.

London is an emotional powder keg at the moment, between the London Bridge attacks and the terrible carnage of the Grenfell Tower fire. There may be some very dark days ahead for the British government. Remember the injured and the family of the deceased in your thoughts and prayers.
Victory Girls will continue to update this story.
Prayers to the victims, may the perp face the justice he has coming, in this world and the next, and piss on those who will use this attack to thwart policies that would make us all safer…
This is looking more and more like a copycat revenge terror attack.
You know why revenge happens? Because the gov’t is not perceived as enacting justice. So, there’s either a misperception, or a lack of justice. As the graphic on Ace of Spades’ Morning Report put it, “1 attack on muslims = terrorism, scores of attacks by muslims = ?”
The horrible part is this single incident (along with that single Sikh dude who was roughed up after 9/11) will be trotted out over and over and over every time a muslim terror attack occurs as “see? *THIS* is why we have to speak out about islamophobia!” Much like the crusades, when the final comeuppance arrives, it will be derided as if it were the opening shot, rather than the response.
Obviously, we will not know anything more until there are official police press conferences
Ha! You’re funny.
GWB, you seem very cynical… You seem to be implying that the govt, leftists, and the MSM ( but i repeat myself) would lie to us, and spin things to agree with their narrative, truth and facts be damned… surely you can’t mean such a thing…
