In a series of speeches, Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin will lay out a winning strategy for Democrats beginning with taking back the “f****** flag” and adopting “G*dd*mn Alpha Energy”. Back when men used to use language like that, the sensitive, jazz hand types of the Democrat Party used to call that toxic. But, this is the new, brave, female empowered Democrat Party and cursing like an ignoramus shows how fearless and bold you are. Yeah, good luck with that.

Slotkin is now the Junior Senator from Michigan, but for the previous six years she was the Congresscritter from Michigan’s 7th District. To win her Senate seat, she beat Republican Mike Rogers, but just barely. For whatever reason, the Democrats have cast their eyes upon her to see if she can be a leader. According to USA Today,

Slotkin is a former CIA analyst who served three tours in Iraq alongside the U.S. military. Prior to serving as a U.S. representative for Michigan from 2019 to 2025, she worked in national security roles at the Pentagon and White House under President Bush and President Obama.

Plus, Slotkin comes from money and, naturally, money and politics go together like Scotch and rocks. She comes from the Ball Parks Franks’ family. We know that she was blessed by whatever Poobahs are left of the Democrat Party because she was selected to give the Democrat response to President Donald Trump’s Joint Address to Congress. Chuckles Schumer called Slotkin a Democrat rising star and that could be the kiss of death considering how much the base hates Chuckles and how much Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is itching for some kind of promotion.

Senator Slotkin doesn’t roll over for AOC or Michigan Governor Gretchen (Crazy Eyes) Whitmer, so she pulled out her “f******” potty mouth and let’er fly. She gave an interview to Polito magazine to start her battle plan against Trump. From Politico’s “Slotkin is testing a ‘war plan’ to beat Trump. She wants Dems to ditch wokeness and muscle up”:

Elissa Slotkin, the former CIA analyst turned battleground senator, will on Thursday start road-testing what she calls a “war plan” to “contain and defeat Donald Trump.”

In the first of a series of speeches about the Democratic Party’s path out of the wilderness, the Michigan senator said she will span everything from strategy to tactics and tone, acknowledging public perception of the party as “weak and woke” needs to change. She is urging Democrats to “fucking retake the flag” with appeals to voters’ sense of patriotism, to adopt “the goddamn Alpha energy” of Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell and to embrace an “airing out” of potential 2028 presidential candidates in a broadly contested primary.

Taking back the “F******” flag is going to be hard when so many of your people get triggered the flag of the United States of America.

Slotkin’s plan lays out why she thinks Democrats suffered sweeping setbacks last year, including focus groups of home-state voters who she said described her party as “weak and woke.” It defines success as winning a number of upcoming battles, including at the Supreme Court.

Most immediately, she said, Democrats could secure a court victory in the most high-profile deportation in recent history by forcing Trump to obey an order in the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland resident mistakenly deported to El Salvador by the Trump administration.

Maybe Slotkin is right about Bernie and AOC and the empty rhetoric. BUT, how is “f******” and “gdarn” anything but ((yawn)) boring? The problem is that the Dems cannot be honest about their true desires. They have to be careful how that sell Socialism. Why do the Dems think that cursing makes them an edgelord. It flat doesn’t

Slotkin can try to sell some better ideas to Democrats. Not that it matters. Republicans have the Senate, the House and the White House and they aren’t doing anything to codify most of the changes Trump wants to make. Slotkin and the Dems will get their chance again…soon.
