Eco-Terrorist Confirmed As Bureau Of Land Management Director

Late last night, after voting for a Continuing Resolution to fund the government and before debating whether to suspend the debt limit until December, the Senate voted to confirm Tracy Stone-Manning as Director of the Bureau of Land Management. The Senate confirmed a known eco-terrorist to a high position in the Federal government. This is not our country any more.

The vote to confirm eco-terrorist Stone-Manning was 50-45. The vote was strictly on party lines. Senator Joe Manchin, who earlier in the day refused to support the $3.5 trillion fundamental transformation bill desired by the Biden Junta and the Squad, voted to confirm Stone-Manning. Not sure that will play well in West Virginia.

Now, why call Stone-Manning an eco-terrorist? Because that’s what she is. Stone-Manning was associated with Earth First!, an ecological terrorist group. From the “About” section of the group’s website:

Earth First! formed in 1979, in response to an increasingly corporate, compromising and ineffective environmental community. It is not an organization, but a movement. There are no “members” of EF!, only Earth First!ers. We believe in using all of the tools in the toolbox, from grassroots and legal organizing to civil disobedience and monkeywrenching. When the law won’t fix the problem, we put our bodies on the line to stop the destruction. Earth First!’s direct-action approach draws attention to the crises facing the natural world, and it saves lives.

Guided by a philosophy of deep ecology, Earth First! does not accept a human-centered worldview of “nature for people’s sake.” Instead, we believe that life exists for its own sake, that industrial civilization and its philosophy are anti-Earth, anti-woman and anti-liberty. Our structure is non-hierarchical, and we reject highly paid “professional staff” and formal leadership.

Remember that “monkey-wrenching” part. It will be important. I had never heard of Tracy Stone-Manning until I read Victory Girls’ own Nina’s post about her last July. Read Nina’s post here.

So, Stone-Manning didn’t spike a tree herself (the monkey-wrenching that could kill), she just rented a typewriter and re-typed, and mailed a letter to the U.S. Forest Service about the tree-spiking. She flipped and testified against the tree-spikers when she was investigated. As Nina noted, Stone-Manning lied in her confirmation hearing. She wouldn’t have had to flip if she wasn’t being investigated.

Earlier today Representative Hal Newhouse, Chairman of the Western Congressional Caucus made a last minute plea to deny the eco-terrorist the directorate of the Bureau of Land Management:

The Senate wasn’t interested in hearing the voices of rural America. Rural America doesn’t vote Blue.

The Democrats pose the Republican opposition to Stone-Manning as opposition to Creepy Joe Biden’s climate agenda. This is not what this is about. This woman has, for decades, been a law-breaker. William Perry-Pendley is a former deputy director of the Bureau of Land Management. He retweeted a tweet from Senator John Barrasso just hours before the Senate vote:

Houses should burn? Here is the proof:

President Biden’s nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Tracy Stone-Manning, once touted her husband’s suggestion to let houses caught in forest fires “burn.”

Stone-Manning pushed her husband Richard Manning’s 2018 Harper’s Magazine article on wildfires where he wrote the “political issue” surrounding people living in or around forests is “easily solved” by having the federal government make fighting fires “a social contract.”

“Perhaps the feds should commit themselves to refusing to send in the troops to any county that has not taken such measures,” Manning wrote. “Perhaps the solution to houses in the interface is to let them burn.”

As I said in another post, the Biden Junta looked all around and found the most incompetent, America-hating types that exist.

The eco-terrorist Stone-Manning gave a statement after her confirmation:

“I am grateful for the Senate’s vote of confidence today and look forward to bringing decades of experience — working on the ground and across the aisle— to carry out the critical mission of the Bureau of Land Management,” Stone-Manning said in a statement after the vote. “Our public lands are one of America’s finest ideas, and I am ready to get to work alongside a remarkable team to ensure future generations benefit from them like we have.”

You see that photo at the top of this post. If the eco-terrorists have their say, you won’t get to visit it for fear that you might crush a grass blade. This is not the country we grew up in.
