The scuttlebutt on the street is that Donald Trump is looking at Nikki Haley for his VP pick. Really? Where in the blue moon did that idea come from and is it for real? I think someone is punking us.
Then again, it might be the most brilliant move by The Number 45. It would bring in those who hate Trump, the warmongers, the old establishment, The Swamp. I guess if you can’t beat them, join them is Trump’s new mantra?
And here you go, right here:
If Trump were to select Haley, it might not please his base, but it could potentially help him reach moderates and independents. She could help the ticket appeal to women and suburban voters, a demographic with which the former president has underperformed. Even further, Haley could give Trump an edge over Biden in swing states, according to the findings of a poll released earlier in December. – RedState
Of course, not all are happy with the Trump/Haley rumor. The ticket definitely does not appeal to me, either.
Tucker trashes the idea of Nikki Haley as Trump VP:
“I would not only not vote for that ticket, I would advocate against it as strongly as could. Here’s someone who’s actively opposed to the interests of the country I grew up in.” pic.twitter.com/8ISMRsNnYC

My question is this: has anyone asked Nikki Haley what she thinks? A few weeks ago, she started trying to distance herself from Trump. While agreeing with him and liking his policies, she says he is surrounded by too much chaos. She has a point, I guess.
Donald Trump has a lot of distractions right now, that’s for sure. This time, not self-induced, in my opinion. Like him or not, he is being treated unjustly.
And so what if Nikki says chaos surrounds Trump. Kamala calling Biden out on racial issues didn’t stop him from selecting her as his VP. Perhaps Kamala isn’t as stupid as we think she is. Wait, never mind.
But let’s take Nikki out of the equation for a minute and look at other options.
No, I’m not looking at Vivek Ramaswamy for VP either. I know many people from the beginning have said Vivek is only in this race, so he can be the VP pick. I disagree. Vivek will return to doing his regular business after the primaries. Or maybe he will start up something new in 2024, but I don’t think he will be a lifelong politician. I could be wrong.
Kristi Noem and Kari Lake have also been named and trotted out as possible VP picks for Trump. I like both of these women to some degree. While I don’t think I’d have a problem with Noem as VP because she is currently a Governor, I’d like to ask what qualifications Kari Lake has to be Vice President?
Having said all of that, my true feeling is that we should stop trying to find a woman as VP just because of the optics. Because I think that is the only reason these names are brought up. We are not the Democrats, so let’s stop acting like it.
And let us not be ludicrous by mentioning Tucker Carlson or Marjorie Taylor Greene. I love these two people but don’t want them as Vice President. Okay? Thanks.
What are your thoughts? If Trump takes the primaries, who would you like to see as his VP pick?

I predicted she would be the VP pick almost a year ago. Trump is not who you think he is. He is a center-left Democrat turned Republican as the Democrets veered to the left off the cliff. If Clinton didn’t run in 2016 Trump would have run as a Democrat and probably would have chosen Bernie as his running mate. If picking Haley is what it would take to break the fever I am all for it. However, Trump cultists would flow to the Soros false flag candidate Vivek Ramaswamy or vote for Junior.
I pray to God he doesn’t pick Nikki because that would be my breaking point.
Nikki Haley is a non-starter. She is a RINO and Trump does not need to unite the party by selecting a RINO as his Veep. She is more “Business As Usual” than Mitch McConnell. Kari Lake would be great, but she’s running for Senate. Ramaswamy, maybe. He seems to push all the right buttons for Trump but needs seasoning. 4 years as Veep may do that and allow him to run in 2028. DeSantis? He’s better off as the bulwark in Florida and most want to keep him. Noem? Small, Midwestern State. Carlson? He doesn’t want it.
I like Lake because she knows how the media works. That could be very useful. Ramaswamy comes off as a bit of a loose cannon, but I could see his usefulness and he is loyal to Trump.
Jayzus. We already had Pence as a pick and he was awful. Why do we need another squish? F that.
I think President Trump could take a look at Winsome Sears, Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. IMO, she’s a very impressive person and could upend the democrat identity politics scheme considerably.
