DOJ Vows FACE Act Charges For Lemon And Rabid Church Protestors

Don Lemon, in his attempt to stay relevant, landed himself in serious trouble yesterday when he took part in the egregious protest invasion of Cities Church in Minneapolis.

It turns out he knew WELL in advance that this was planned. Why? Because as Beege over at HotAir pointed out, he interviewed the ringleader of these rabid protestors (who has major ties with Black Lives Matter), and held that interview until after the church protest.

In my previous post, I included Lemon “interviewing” the pastor during the church service. He’s a journalist you see, so according to Don Lemon, he has EVERY RIGHT to disrupt a church service while chasing the anti-ICE narrative. Freedom of the Press and all that.

A day after Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the FBI had no plans to investigate the ICE agent who shot and killed Renee Good, he promised to “aggressively” find and potentially prosecute the protesters who rushed into a Minneapolis church, including former CNN anchor Don Lemon.

Lemon followed protesters into the St. Paul, MN, church on Sunday, trying to find pastor David Easterwood, believing he was also serving as acting director of ICE’s St. Paul Field Office. ICE has not confirmed whether they are the same person.

Blanche told Fox News’s Will Cain that “storming” the church was “anti-Christian” and a “violation of the law.”

This Republic was founded in part because the settlers and colonists wanted to have the freedom to practice their faith and religion without government interference. And, without disruption. Don Lemon can try, but he cannot claim freedom of the press, yet violate a house of worship.

Furthermore, what those rabid protestors did was against several laws, including the FACE Act.

The Special Litigation Section also enforces the civil provisions of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act of 1994 (FACE). This Act prohibits the use or threat of force and physical obstruction that injures, intimidates, or interferes with a person seeking to obtain or provide reproductive health services or to exercise the First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship.It also prohibits intentional property damage of a facility providing reproductive health services or a place of religious worship. FACE authorizes the Attorney General to seek injunctive relief, statutory or compensatory damages, and civil penalties against individuals who engage in conduct that violates the Act. {Emphasis Added}

Don Lemon is not only hiding behind freedom of the press, he is continuing to triple down on his stance. You see, he had EVERY right to do what he did and those complaining are “white supremacists.”

“And there’s a certain degree of entitlement. I think people who are, you know, in the religious groups like that, it’s not the type of Christianity that I practice, but I think that they’re entitled and that that entitlement comes from a supremacy, white supremacy, and they think that this country was built for them, that it is a Christian country, when actually we left England because we wanted religious freedom. It’s religious freedom, but only if you’re a Christian and only if you’re a white male, pretty much.”

The man is just vile. Acccording to him, even the children who were traumatized by the rabid protestors are white supremacists also.

What happened yesterday was offensive, grotesque, and infuriating.

Don is now out there trying to claim that HE is the victim here. He’s working hard at the gaslighting and it’s an epic failure. Then again, when the only statement from Tim Walz is… tepid at best.

“The Governor has repeatedly and unequivocally urged protesters to do so peacefully. While people have a right to speak out, he in no way supports interrupting a place of worship,” Walz’s office told Fox News in a statement.

That from the same guy who warned in late December that ICE would invade churches during Midnight Mass and go after parishioners.

There’s something else to this. Just last August, another church in Minneapolis was targeted and attacked by a leftist trans shooter leaving 2 children dead and 30 others (mostly children) wounded.

Don’s narrative and that of the rabid protestors is so important that they don’t care that people were re-traumatized by memories of this attack?

No, none of them care.

And now, because they FA and broke multiple laws by invading and disrupting a church service, they are about to FO what the consequences are.

Yes, that is absolutely the cherry on top with all of this.

Have patience though. The DOJ is going to work to ensure that every single i is dotted and t crossed perfectly in this case. Which will take a little bit of time. You can’t prosecute just on video alone, even with the admissions made in said videos by Lemon and his rabid BLM protestor pals.

I don’t care what color Don Lemon is or about his gay lifestyle. The fact is, he is NOT the victim here. Nor are his rabid paid protestor pals. They ALL broke multiple laws.

The DOJ needs to make the case and we can only hope the federal judges in that area will uphold the LAW instead of putting political narratives first.
