Devin Nunes And The Non-Farming Woke Crowd
Devin Nunes And The Non-Farming Woke Crowd
Representative Devin Nunes (R-CA) is under attack by the non-farming woke crowd. The Social Justice Zealots have attacked him and his family by every possible method. Nunes has strong Conservative credentials and supports President Donald Trump. He has not been cowed by this attempted intimidation.
In 2018, Erielle Davidson of The Federalist wrote how the media and the Left (I know, redundant.) harassed Nunes’ wife, uncle and 98 year old grandmother. Davidson writes that harassing family should be off limits. That’s a true fact. The Fresno Bee sent a reporter “unannounced” to Nunes’ grandmother. If she had wanted to contribute to the political conversation, she would have invited the Fresno Bee to her home.
The worst sin that Nunes seems to have committed is that he grew up on a dairy farm and didn’t attend Ivy League schools. Here is part of the biography from his Congressional website:
Nunes was born in Tulare, California. His family is of Portuguese descent, having emigrated from the Azores to California. From childhood, he worked on a farm that his family has operated in Tulare County for three generations. He raised cattle as a teenager, used his savings to begin a harvesting business, and then bought his own farmland with his brother.
Nunes graduated from Tulare Union High School. He is the second Member of Congress to attend Tulare Union, following Olympic gold medalist Bob Mathias, who served in the House of Representatives from 1967 to 1975. After associate’s work at College of the Sequoias, Nunes graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and a master’s degree in agriculture.
Oh, but he’s not a real farmer because his family sold their property in 2006 and moved to Iowa. Draw and quarter him, now! Devin Nunes lack of real farming experience, in the Left’s mind, has led to a Twitter account for “Devin Nunes’ Cow”. That’s what the Social Justice Zealots consider high-tone comedy.
Nunes has filed a suit against Twitter and others for defamation. This is not to be confused with his Daily Beast/CNN lawsuit, which is about the Ukraine. In case you are wondering, yes, I think Devin Nunes is suing too much. Not the tack I would take. Well, I would sue about the Ukraine. I would embrace “Devin Nunes’ Cow”. I would turn it against the left. I would actually make it funny. Moo!
Here is part of the story from The Hill.com:
Nunes’s lawyer reportedly issued a subpoena last month to obtain records from Adam Parkhomenko, a former Democratic National Committee employee, about the operators of the accounts.
In a filing to nullify the subpoena, Parkhomenko’s attorney said that the parody accounts’ behavior did not constitute defamation. He also emphasized that courts were responsible for protecting anonymous speech, The Bee noted.
“No reasonable person would believe that Devin Nunes’ cow actually has a Twitter account, or that the hyperbole, satire and cow-related jokes it posts are serious facts,” the filing read. “It is self-evident that cows are domesticated livestock animals and do not have the intelligence, language, or opposable digits needed to operate a Twitter account.”
Here are a few supporters of “Devin Nunes’ Cow” who showed up for an August hearing on the Twitter suit:
This Adam Parkhomenko is a minion of Hillary Clinton. You can read all about him here. Here is an Adam Parkhomenko Tweet (nsfw):
We are coming for you @DevinNunes. We are not unilaterally disarming when it comes to the legal process. Every single option is on the table and there is a price to pay for fucking with peoples first amendment rights.

What a charmer! Nunes should drop this lawsuit. He should “Moo” right along with the crowd. He should appropriate the cow memes. Nunes’s cow should be a cow of the people, for the people, and by the people. Nunes’ cow gives sweet milk, not curdled.
Twitter is a sewer that Nunes should stay upwind of. These people are humorless Social Justice Zealots who know nothing of farming or farmers. They think food comes from Whole Foods. The cows know real butter from margarine. These people are margarine.
