Per the UCMJ (Uniform Code of Military Justice), there ARE consequences to sedition. On Tuesday, several Democrats decided it was perfectly fine to throw the UCMJ into the trash and urge our soldiers to disobey lawful orders.

Yes, they really went there. As Toni pointed out, every single one of them should’ve known better given they all served at one time. But NOOOOO…since it is Trump and they don’t like narco terrorists getting blown up, they firmly believe that soldiers can ignore UCMJ if they don’t like the orders given. 

Let me be very blunt here. Not one single soldier has ANY authority to disobey an order they are given. Under UCMJ, they took an oath that says not only will they adhere to the Constitution, they must follow orders given by their superior officers and by their Commander in Chief. 

They do NOT get to decide which orders are lawful or not, and they sure as hell don’t get to put their own personal politics above the cohesiveness of the unit. Period. 

President Trump responded to the Democrats yesterday. 

President Donald Trump on Thursday called for the arrest of Democratic lawmakers who publicly exhorted members of the U.S. military and intelligence communities to disobey any orders they perceive to be illegal, labeling the admonition “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL” in an online post.

“Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. He later added that the behavior was “punishable by DEATH!” and reshared a post proclaiming: “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”

And everyone on the left, media included, clutched all the pearls in horror. What they are deliberately ignoring is that President Trump was pointing to the very relevant UCMJ regulations that clearly outline what happens when a soldier purposefully disobeys an order. That soldier, no matter the rank, can personally not like an order but UCMJ is clear. FOLLOW ORDERS. PERIOD. 

Yet here come these Democrats, who have a military background and thus should absolutely know better, are urging soldiers to disobey if they don’t “like” the order given. That is insurrection and sedition. 

And yes, sedition can be punishable by imprisonment, dishonorable discharge, or even death.

Everyone, please clap for his stunning bravery. Jason is quite the virtue-signaling FOBBIT isn’t he? 

And now, suddenly the Capital Police are concerned and have ordered security for these seditious FOBBITS. 

As you can tell by the report, the media is focusing on Trump instead of addressing the very real issue. Democrats are specifically calling for our troops to disobey orders from their commanding officers.

Elise, Jason, and the rest need to put a giant sock in it and do so NOW. President Trump wasn’t threatening to execute these Democrats. What he is correctly pointing out is that sedition by members of the military could lead to a death sentence. What he is pointing out is that these Democrats are ENCOURAGING insurrection and sedition…and the consequences of those actions as outlined by the UCMJ are appropriately swift and harsh. 

The Democrats have been bleating about President Trump inciting political violence for days/weeks/months/years on end, yet it is the Democrats who are using violent rhetoric.

Agreed. Yet the Democrats who want this sedition to happen are trying to hide behind their “love” of the Constitution. One of those in the group is Maggie Goodlander. Who is she you ask? Why, she just happens to be Jake Sullivan’s wife. Yes, THAT Jake Sullivan who informed the world that the Afghanistan withdrawal was disaster free, and was one of those who helped Hillary by ginning up the fake Benghazi protest narrative. 

Of course, you know the Democrats here are hoping soldiers will go look up the “duty to disobey” portion in the UCMJ code, and act upon it. 

However, there’s a big problem with this. Democrats want soldiers to disobey illegal orders. But when asked which orders are blatantly illegal, not one single one of them could provide a concrete answer. 

They just don’t like anything the President is doing regarding our military (or anything else for that matter), and hope soldiers will toss their oath into the gutter while standing up to ORANGEMANBAD. 

All of them know that the modern US military takes great care to lay out what constitutes an illegal order; no one now in uniform has the least need for added instruction about it.

The real target audience is the Bluesky addicts and so on who’ll wallow in this propaganda porn — a fantasy that pretends President Donald Trump is an out-of-control dictator poised to sic the military on civilians in some sort of coup, and so panders to progressives’ desperate desire to see themselves as stalwart patriots resisting an outlaw regime.

It’s a disgrace that these veterans are milking their own service to rally partisan support (and raise funds down the line, no doubt) by insinuating that the sitting president is ordering service members to violate the Constitution.

I agree one thousand percent. The Democrats overstepped with this gambit. Whining about it further while still urging our troops to rebel against lawful orders is a dangerous game.

Telling troops to defy the Commander-in-Chief isn’t “defending the oath,” it’s textbook sedition: inciting mutiny against the elected president.

Trump didn’t threaten anyone; he quoted the law (18 U.S.C. § 2384). Sedition can carry death for a reason—no republic survives…
