Hasan Piker said on his stream that if people really cared about Medicare or Medicaid fraud, they would kill Rick Scott, and somehow that wasn’t the end of the conversation. It just became another clip making the rounds.
Don’t debate him. Don’t vote him out. Kill him. And instead of authorities hauling him in for that kind of threat, people still invite him, still platform him, and still treat him like someone worth listening to.
Democrat spokesperson Hasan Piker urged his audience to kill Republican lawmakers.

If you’re tempted to roll your eyes and write this guy off as just another loudmouth online, don’t. Hasan Piker isn’t some random kid ranting from his bedroom. He’s the nephew of Cenk Uygur, podcast host on The Young Turks, and where Piker got his start. Hasan didn’t just pop out of nowhere. He’s college-educated in political science and communications. So he knows exactly what he is doing here.
Hasan has millions of followers, many of them young, plugged in, and paying attention. Piker has taken his streams over to Twitch, where he sits living-streaming for hours just ‘hanging out’ like the youngins like to do these days. Hasan has them glued to his stream.
Piker didn’t just say something reckless about Rick Scott. This is not some one-off slip that got taken out of context. Hasan Piker has been saying variations of this kind of thing for years. He said America deserved 9/11.

When it came to October 7, he didn’t focus on the victims or the brutality. He brushed off the horror of October 7 as some kind of inevitable response. Reports of the atrocities didn’t change the framing for him. That tells you everything you need to know.
Piker, whose videos on Twitch and YouTube reach millions of viewers, has faced criticism for justifying Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, terror attacks, while forcefully denying some of the terror group’s atrocities — such as widespread reports of sexual violence that he has dismissed as “rape fantasies” and “hallucinations.” – Yahoo News
Now he’s casually talking about killing a sitting U.S. senator. That’s not “free speech” in the way people like to toss that phrase around. Free speech protects you from the government shutting you up. It doesn’t turn reckless, violent rhetoric into something noble or harmless. My first thought was that Piker was trying to motivate another Luigi Mangione. Or a Tyler Robinson.
Florida Sen. Rick Scott admonished Democrats for the vile rhetoric of left-wing livestreamer Hasan Piker, who suggested the lawmaker needs to be killed.
During a recent livestream, Piker declared that “if you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would kill Rick Scott.”
Scott (R-Fla.) has since pushed for Yale University to lose funding for allowing Piker to speak at an event.
“He wants me killed. He wants every capitalist murdered,” Scott bemoaned matter-of-factly on “Fox News Sunday.” “He said that we deserve 9/11. He’s clearly antisemitic. Democrats are campaigning with this guy.”
“The Democrat Party supports this stuff,” he added. “Yale, if they want to go support somebody that wants to be a capitalist murdered in this country, right, so I don’t want them to get any federal funding. I mean, it’s pretty simple to me. They shouldn’t be doing this.” – New York Post
And yet, Yale University decided to invite Hasan Piker to speak anyway. Giving him a stage to push his usual “American Empire” decline routine. This is what gets rewarded, elevated.
So Rick Scott fired back and said enough. He’s now calling for federal funding to be pulled from Yale over it.
You can aruge whether that’s the right move, but you can’t miss the bigger point. A guy says a U.S. senator should be killed, and instead of being sidelined, he gets a microphone at an Ivy League university.
Oh and the Democrats love this guy. This is wehre it stops being about one loudmouth streamer and starts being about the people choosing to stand next to him. Hasan Piker isn’t being shunned. He’s being celebrated.
Piker has campaigned with Abdul El-Sayed, no suprise there. Abdul El-Sayed is running for U.S. Senate in Michigan. And appeared alongside Summer Lee, Pennsylvania representative.
And Ro Khanna can’t get enough of Hasan Piker. Ro Khanna, a progressive congressman from California, arguing that engaging voices like his is necessary to win elections. Oof.
Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna doubles down on support of terrorist sympathizer Hasan Piker — who said “America deserved 9/11.”

Democrats are leaning in hard. They are sharing stages, Ivy League colleges are inviting him to speak, and treating him like a useful voice. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar have been guests on Piker’s streams. Surprise, surprise. Piker has been seen alongside Zohran Mamdani. And in 2024, at the Democratic National Convention, he was given credentials to cover the event on his live streams.
You can laugh this off if you want. You can chalk it up to internet noise and move on. But that’s not what this is. I’ll say it, he’s an extremist-terrorist-loving-radical-agitator with influence in the United States of America, and he’s got the Democrats in the palm of his hand.
