We must accept that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz will duck and weave their way to November 5th and possibly the White House.

The media will have you believe that Donald Trump is off-message. At least he’s talking to the media. He has called for a press conference later today (3:30C/4:30E) at his New Jersey golf club.

So why aren’t Harris and Walz speaking to the press? Because they don’t have to, and after reading the following linked article, I’m starting to believe this is their campaign strategy.

Here is what I think is going on: Kamala Harris and Tim Walz ignore invitations for interviews and the press because they are campaigning and holding rallies. Why sit with interviewers when they know they will get highlights and clips from their rallies?

The public sees them out there, and they hear the words coming from the horses’ mouths, so to speak. How often have you heard that we can’t believe what the news tells us anyway?  Donald Trump says everything is fake news. Harris and Walz’s campaign has caught on, so they’ll just keep ignoring the press.

Why should the public believe people like Wesley Hunt? Or why should Kamala and Tim face the scrutiny out there when they can simply move their mouths and let lies continue to fly out?

Kamala Harris was the architect of the DEFUND THE POLICE movement.

Tim Walz was an arbiter of the SUMMER OF LOVE.

Here is their playbook: ignore the media but keep talking to the public via rallies and campaign stops. The media will cover it, and the people will see them say the things and believe them. Kamala and Tim no longer need to sit down and talk to you through the press or the legacy news. They have their social media channels, and the media will cover their rallies, so they don’t need to go to the press.

Forget about the fact that Tim Walz’s lockdown orders had a Minnesota grandma sentenced to 90 days for standing up to tyranny. Or how Tim Walz praised a controversial Muslim cleric who shared antisemitic views. And how about that time he opened the floodgates to Somali immigrants? Of course, he has already answered your blasphemist questions regarding his military service.

See? He answered the question in his speech the other day in Los Angeles. And YouTube tells you so. The proof is right there in front of your face. The words came out of his own mouth. The media captured it. And replays it. So why do either Tim or Kamala need to sit down and be interviewed? That’s just silly.

Yes, in all seriousness now, we would like to see and hear from Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in an interview format or press conference. Can they handle it? Doubtful. Therefore, they will not face the nation via direct media contact. They will keep skating around, ducking, and weaving because they can.

The Democratic National Convention is coming up, so we’ll see them there via the media. Those clips will circulate for a good week. There is no need for Tim to sit down and answer why they call him Tampon Tim or ask about his masculinity and his gun grabbing.

After their convention, we’ll have a debate between Kamala and Donald. The vice presidential candidates have also arranged or agreed to a debate in October. This gives Kamala and Tim more excuses to ignore the media directly. I just hope that Trump and Vance will hit hard on the records of Kamala and Walz during these debates.

Speaking of October, don’t be surprised if something extraordinary happens. Steve Krakauer has an opinion piece at The Hill that will make you laugh and cry simultaneously. He speculates that Joe Biden could step down and resign/retire, allowing Kamala to enter the Oval Office and run her campaign as the incumbent. The Democrats will be determined to have their first black woman president after all.

My goodness, gracious. Yes, I think it could happen. After what we’ve all been witnessing lately? Sure. Why not. Plus, it will be a big distraction on why she and Tim won’t talk to the media.
