By now everyone has heard of the plagiarism scandal surrounding Melania Trump’s speech at the GOP national convention. By now just about everyone has an opinion on it as well.

That includes former KKK wizard David Duke.

In a video he released on Tuesday, Duke blamed the media for their attention to the speech kerfuffle, but also for failing to support white people, as he thinks they should.

But Duke wasn’t done yet with his assignment of blame.

Now after reconsideration, he says it was intentional sabotage by Jews.

He wrote:

We know the Jewish establishment of both the NeoCon right and Democratic Left despise Donald Trump. Jewish pollster Finkelstein says that Donald Trump is the most unpopular candidate for President among Jews since David Duke’s race of 1992!
Nobody could have been so stupid as to make about five or six common quotes out of Michele Obama’s Demo convention speech just a few years before and put it Melania Trump’s speech and not think it would get exposed!
This is a con job, sabotage, political character assassination plan from the get go!

He concludes:

I would bet a gefilte fish that this was sabotage. I would also bet a bagel it was orchestrated by an Israel Firster who wanted to damage the American Firster.

I swear, when this man dreams, he must see images like this. . .

Well, well, well, it appears that the culprit may have been identified.

A Trump Organization employee, Meredith McIver, has admitted to pulling quotes from Michelle Obama’s speech to use for Melania’s.

According to McIver, in preparation for the speech, Mrs. Trump read passages from the 2008 Obama speech over the phone to staff, indicating that these passages had “inspired her.” McIver inserted the passages into a draft without first checking Mrs. Obama’s speech. “This was my mistake, and I feel terrible for the chaos I have caused,” McIver said in a statement. She said she had offered to resign, but her resignation was rejected by the Trumps.

Last time I checked, “McIver” is not a traditional Jewish name. And being a doofus and failing to fact check information does not make a conspiracy. What is certain is that David Duke is a whack-job racist who doesn’t belong anywhere near the GOP or conservatism.

But this is not the first time the Trump campaign has run into public relations problems. In January the campaign pulled an ad praising American troops which had used footage of Russian soldiers.

Just within the past week they changed the Trump-Pence logo after receiving ridicule on social media over the first logo.

It’s time the Trump campaign re-evaluated the competency of its players.

Donald Trump was the wild card candidate who managed to take the divisionals and win the pennant on the strength of his personality, his brand, and his star power. But he’s now entered the World Series of American politics, and he and his managers need to realize the depth and quality of their team before Team Hillary sweeps the series.
