Critical Race Theory And Its Many Different Names

Right now, Critical Race Theory is getting all the press. But, Critical Race Theory (CRT) came from Critical Theory and CRT is spawning its own spin-offs. Two of these are Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL). These dangerous ideologies being foist upon us all are like a chess game. It is our responsibility as citizens to stay at least two moves ahead.

Because of the pandemic lockdowns and the online learning it caused, parents finally became aware of their children’s indoctrination. Because parents have become vocal at school board meetings regarding masks and CRT, Attorney General Merrick Garland is siccing the FBI on these “domestic terrorists”. Parents should be righteously indignant. But, we cannot stop with CRT.

First, I must reiterate that Critical Race Theory is not anti-White. Don’t go anywhere near that thought. CRT is anti-sentient being. No group or person can ever be right under CRT. It comes for all of us. Dr. Karlyn Borysenko has been the leading voice for this concept. As Jeff Dornik wrote:

One dangerous trend that Karlyn is seeing among the anti-CRT crowd, led by the likes of Ben Shapiro, Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk, is the claim that Critical Race Theory is “anti-white.” While there definitely is an anti-white belief system within CRT, it is not limited to that. It’s actually simply a racist ideology… against ALL races.

To limit the conservative definition of CRT to simply being anti-white is like the Left saying that Black Lives Matter instead of All Lives Matter. Saying All Lives Matter would also encompass Black lives, in the same way that saying that CRT is racist would also include those that are white.

CRT is dangerous to everyone.

Activist and super-thinker Ayaan Hirsi Ali recently wrote a column warning the world about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. You can read her full post here: As Ali wrote, while many school systems are denying that CRT exists they are subbing in DEI:

Part of its purpose appears to be to sow confusion among opponents of CRT. It has certainly riled the conservative Heritage Foundation. In its recent guide on “How to identify Critical Race Theory”, it warns of a “new tactic” deployed by the movement’s defenders: they “now deny that the curricula and training programs in question form part of CRT, insisting that the ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)’ programs of trainers such as Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo are distinct from the academic work of professors such as Derrick Bell, Kimberle Crenshaw, and other CRT architects”.

Certainly, regardless of which trendy three-letter term you prefer to describe the latest iteration of America’s obsession with race, the goal in each case is the same: to shift away from meritocracy in favour of an equality of outcome system.

Meanwhile, your children can’t read, write, make change, or understand the world around them. All children get hurt by this. Who gets hurt most? Children of color and those from poorer backgrounds.

But wait, there is more: Welcome to Social Emotional Learning. What is SEL? From Positive Action:

To fully understand Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), it’s useful to begin with a clear definition. SEL is the vital framework through which people of all ages acquire skills in working towards their own unique goals, comprehending and managing their emotions, nurturing positive relationships, making informed choices, and feeling and exhibiting empathy. Learning SEL provides students and young people with the abilities required to succeed in life, both within their school and beyond.

People who intentionally parent their children may rightly say that working towards a child’s “own unique goals, comprehending and managing their emotions” and all the rest is the parent’s job.

A study from the Pioneer Institute found that academics are not a focus of SEL:

Proponents of SEL call for focusing less on academic content and knowledge in schools, and more on student attributes, mindsets, values, and behaviors. Not only are the goals of SEL ill-defined, but they also raise significant, unanswered questions about what attitudes should be promoted.

If you think that sounds like indoctrination, congratulations, you are correct.

Now, remember how I told you that AG Merrick Garland wants to label you as a “domestic terrorist”? Well, AG Garland’s son-in-law, Xan Tanner, is founder of Panorama Education which develops tools and surveys for Social Emotional Learning and uses CRT. From the Daily Mail UK:

The group, Parents Defending Education (PDE), is now accusing Garland of a conflict of interest after the attorney general directed the FBI to step up enforcement against threats to teachers and other education officials.

A Panorama Education told DailyMail.com that it is ‘an independent education organization that partners with schools and districts to support student literacy and social-emotional learning.

You know those surveys your kids are bringing home that are completely age inappropriate. Thank Panorama Education. Again from Daily Mail UK:

The group, Parents Defending Education (PDE), is now accusing Garland of a conflict of interest after the attorney general directed the FBI to step up enforcement against threats to teachers and other education officials.

A Panorama Education told DailyMail.com that it is ‘an independent education organization that partners with schools and districts to support student literacy and social-emotional learning.’

One of the images appears to show a survey asking whether the respondent is ‘gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, aromantic, asexual, or questioning.’

A second screenshot is a question simply asking the respondent’s gender, then adds the following options: Male, Female, Transgender Male, Transgender Female, Genderqueer or Genderfluid, Questioning, My identity is not listed, Prefer not to answer.

Now you know, right? In this video, Dr. Borysenko explains how CRT begot SEL and all the other illegitimate ideologies that flow from it.

Everyone of these insidious shapeshifting ideologies is dangerous to your child, your community and our country. Teachers and schools may shout “Teach the truth”. Straight up, my dudes, teach reading, writing and arithmetic. The truth has eluded you.

Parents be aware. Stay at least two moves ahead.

Critical Race Theory is in and of itself Racist. Our Family follows the shenagans that apear in our schools and adjust our interactions with our children accordingly. We also sit down and go over school propganda point by point. In the long haul we think the school material false, we will object the the school board.. If in the end, to keep thier grades satisfactory, we tell our children, to give them what they want to hear. After their grades are obtained, then and only then, I will, tell school and teachers to call us, by all means WE Would Be Happy to sit down and tell them (face to face) that they are full of shit.. Show your kids how to play the race game

Push back needs to happen on a daily basis. The instant the schools come up with a shiny new term, the first and only question from parents should be “how will this improve academic performance?”

When the answer is any variation of feelings, equity, systemic raysism, the schools get told in no uncertain terms that it’s not going to be used.

The “try kindness, it works ” mantra was the big catch phrase when my kids were still in school. A subtle veiled attempt and precursor to the current CRT/SEL assault we are witnessing now. Just remember that when the pressure becomes too much to continue using the current acronyms, those directing the agenda will pivot and begin using other terms, though the underlying principles will remain the same. The only value in it all, is that history will repeat itself. People just have to be smart enough to recognize it for what it is, and push back even harder.

As the wife always states, putting your kids in public school equates to child abuse.
