Bill Gertz, writing in the Free Beacon, claims that China warned the United States against punitive currency policies that could disrupt China-U.S. relations. The warning came the day after Donald J. Trump’s “YUGE” win in the Nevada caucuses.

Mr. Trump has repeatedly claimed that he would tax Chinese goods to offset the Chinese government’s manipulation of the Yuan. Last month, Reuters.com filed a report quoting Trump:

They’re devaluing their currency, and they’re killing our companies,” Trump said. “We are letting them get away with it, and we can’t let them get away with it.

The Free Beacon article quotes Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying:

Since it belongs to the domestic affair of the U.S., I am not going to make comments on specific remarks by the relevant candidate,” she said.

“But I want to stress that China and the U.S., as world’s largest developing and developed countries, shoulder major responsibilities in safeguarding world peace, stability and security and driving world development,” the spokeswoman added.

“The sustained, sound and steady growth of China-U.S. relations serves the fundamental and long-term interests of the two countries and benefits the world. We hope and believe that the U.S. government will pursue a positive policy toward China in a responsible manner.

‘Cuz, like, I totally trust the Chinese Communists. They just want peace, love and happiness, right?

Laura Ingraham and The Lasers Shadow are too right. Most Americans will hear Trump, and China’s response, and think “Righteous”. Average Americans will think that China has been drinking our milkshakes for far too long.

For just wanting peace, love and happiness, China has been doing a lot of warning and aggressive acts lately. For instance:

In November, China warned the U.S. after two B-52 bombers flew near Chinese made islands in the South China Seas. In October, China warned the U.S. about “provocative acts” after a U.S. warship sailed near those Chinese made islands. And, yesterday, the Chinese warned the South Koreans against implementing a U.S. missile system.

Oh and….don’t forget, China hacks U.S. businesses and government computers, including the day after President Obama declared a no hacking deal.

China warns and the U.S. and the feckless Obama and impotent Secretary of State John Kerry do nothing. It is no wonder that the American people are thirsty for leadership. Please don’t let us drink the Trump water.
