The attack yesterday on two military installations in Chattanooga, TN is being called an act of domestic terrorism. Unfortunately we have far too many in the media along with so-called pundits who don’t like THAT word…terrorism and would rather not connect the dots to what most Americans know, and is VERY obvious to the men and women in our Armed Forces.

His name is Arabic but not Muslim?! CHANGE is a strong word??!! Okayyyyy, lets connect a few dots shall we?

The attack on the recruitment center and the U.S. Navel Reserve Center happened on the last day of Ramadan. Ramadan, as many know is the Islamic holy month of fasting and is observed worldwide. Don’t forget that this particular year, ISIS has called for and insisted upon lone wolf attacks during Ramadan. Two days after Ramadan started, their plan was put in motion and the world woke up to the attacks in France, Tunisia, the mosque in Kuwait, and Somalia. Oh but wait, that’s different…or something. And the tap-dancing continues:

Suhaib Webb, a Washington D.C.-based imam and founder of the Ella Collins Institute of Islamic and Cultural Studies, said his first thought was mourning the deaths of the four Marines. Second was the impact of the killings on Muslim communities around the country.

“It will probably be that he’s done this in the name of some radical Muslim group,” Webb said. “And that puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the community.”

Nooo, really? In fact, when you look at all the attacks that have happened here on American soil in recent years, something becomes obvious. One is the name or adopted name of the gunman and the second is the religion that they follow. The 2009 shooting at the Little Rock, Arkansas recruiting station, the Fort Hood attack by Nidal Hassan in November 2009, the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, the Moore, Oklahoma attack, and the May 2015 “Draw Muhammed” all had one thing in common. Chiefly that every attacker identified himself as a follower of Islam.

Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez is the latest to follow in footsteps of inflicting terror upon Americans ON American soil.

Abdulazeez was a naturalized citizen who was brought up in Jordan and came to the United States with his family in 1996.
A spokesman for the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, he attended the school and graduated in 2012 with a degree in electrical engineering.
Pictures on social media have emerged of him at his graduation ceremony and celebrating with members of his family in 2012.

Supposedly he was a well-liked student who got along with everyone. Yet he would miss wrestling practices to attend prayers at the mosque. When he graduated, he put a sarcastic quote with his yearbook photo:

Alrighty then, lets take a quick peek at Abdulazeez’s father:

Abdulazeez’s father, Youssuf Abdullazeez, was appointed as a ‘special policeman’ for Chattanooga’s Department of Public Works in March 2005, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reported.
He was investigated several years ago for ‘possible ties to a foreign terrorist organization,’ the New York Times reported.

Youssuf also REALLY didn’t like the fact that his son was involved in the mixed martial arts world. In fact, his father would wait outside the arenas and berate Abdulazeez after the bouts, because devout Muslims aren’t supposed to hit people in the face…but I guess beheading is ok?

Before anyone else adds to their tap-dancing repertoire, lets quickly look at two more dots. First, Abdullazeez quit MMA fighting and took a trip back to the Middle East within the last two years. After that time, people reported he became more erratic in his behavior and was arrested for a DUI in April. We can further understand his Islamic motivations by reviewing the two blog posts he wrote three days before the attack. But by all means…lets be super duper careful about connecting the dots! Well, there are a few who do understand who and what we are facing:

How many more Americans must be killed before our country faces the truth? Islam, radical or not, has been at war with the United States since the time of the American Revolution and they are not about to stop now. As we mourn the loss of four Marines, we should step up and honor them by facing the simple truth: What happened in Chattanooga, TN yesterday isn’t “workplace” violence, nor is it “domestic” terrorism. It is Terrorism. Full. Stop.
