Yesterday Toni wrote about the criminal reaction to the supposedly bad shooting of Keith Lamont Scott by Charlotte police department officers. I followed up with this post containing some inconvenient facts regarding the case. Chiefly that Scott had a GUN, NOT a book. Evidently pesky little facts like that absolutely DIDN’T matter to the hordes of criminal rioters Wednesday night.
Can someone please explain to me how destroying a team store and stealing the merchandise in it can be labeled as a protest? Oh wait, it can’t. Yes, protestors rioters thieves broke into the Hornets team store last night and destroyed it.
Yes, that is what happened for the second night in a row. To make matters worse, there was a guy shot last night. Of course everyone started blaming the police. Wait what? Not so fast there Sparky.
It was a civilian on civilian shooting in the middle of the protest! Cops had absolutely NOTHING to do with it other than working to get the victim to the hospital where he remains on life support. Unfortunately the facts of THAT shooting won’t matter to the looters.
As the riots were gathering steam, Police Chief Kerr Putney talked with Megyn Kelly.
Does anyone in the Black Lives Matter movement want to take a moment and even CONSIDER what he is saying? Given last night’s events, all evidence points to a hearty NO and EFF YOU from those who’d rather riot and destroy than “peacefully” protest.
Think I’m wrong? When the protestors criminals do this…

They lose all right to A. call this a “protest” and B. label it “peaceful”
Governor Pat McCrory declared a State of Emergency late last evening.
McCrory said he was ordering state assistance in response to a request from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney.
“Any violence directed toward our citizens or police officers or destruction of property should not be tolerated,” the governor said in a statement. “I support and commend the law enforcement officials for their bravery and courage during this difficult situation.”
Where is the rest of our leadership on this? Well…Obama phoned it in. Literally.
Pres Obama phones mayors of Tulsa and Charlotte about shootings by police and community reaction. Pres urges protests be peaceful.

In other words, even though the President was well aware of how violent the FIRST night of the protests were, he gave tacit approval for the rioters to continue rioting. He then followed up with a statement that basically told the police to stand down.
WH official also says @POTUS offered mayors assistance as needed. Urges police to "calmly & productively" engage those protesting shootings.

Essentially Obama told the police to quit being so MEAN! Hillary wasn’t any better. Heck I think she was worse. She spewed these words of wisdom via Twitter and her rally in Orlando.
Keith Lamont Scott. Terence Crutcher. Too many others. This has got to end. -H

We have two names to add to a long list of African Americans killed by police officers. It’s unbearable, and it needs to become intolerable.
— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) September 21, 2016
Those two statements by Hillary make it clear. She could care less about the police who protect and serve all of us, including her. In fact her statements as with Obama’s give overt support to those rioting, looting, and destroying in the name of justice.
Speaking of justice, guess who’ll be arriving in Charlotte today to “help.”
Wonderful. Let's politicize this and make it even worse.

Exactly. Even though the DOJ’s report backed the findings by the grand jury in the Ferguson case, everything else they did there, in Baltimore and elsewhere is a hinderance, not a help.
As others are pointing out, this new “normal” of riots in response to shootings isn’t and shouldn’t be what this country is about. But this is what we have to cope with now. This is what Hope and Change has wrought. America cannot afford another 4 more years of the same, not if we want to survive and thrive as our Founders intended.
We have two names to add to a long list of African Americans killed by police officers.
How about the even LONGER list of African Americans killed by other African Americans?
BTW, there’s information out today about the vast majority of those arrested being from out-of-town. Gee, imagine that. Shades of Ferguson, yes? And Soros’ fingerprints are all over this.
