On Tuesday night, Sarah Huckabee Sanders moderated an event for former President Donald Trump. Just prior to the start of the event, Governor Sanders made a comment about being kept humble by her children. This is being reported as a dig at Vice President Harris for not having children and is being called “casual cruelty” by Nicolle Wallace. Touchy touchy. These Lefty Looney women hear what they want to hear.
On Tuesday evening, President Trump held an event at the Dort Financial Event Center in Flint, Michigan. This shindig was moderated by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was in the Trump Administration as Press Secretary. As the daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, she was raised on MMA politics.
Before the event began, Governor Sanders Huckabee made a comment on being kept humble. The Media Industrial Complex has gone bat shit crazy over her comment about humble. They are free to interpret the comment any way they wish. Here is how “Republican Consultant” Susan Del Percio wrote it up for MSNBC “Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ ‘humble’ jab at Harris wasn’t just cruel — it was calculated”:
In what looks like an attempt to appeal to women voters, the Trump team decided to deploy Sanders as a surrogate. But that seems to have backfired. During her introduction of Trump, Sanders talked about her children and how they keep her humble. She then added, “Unfortunately, Kamala Harris doesn’t have anything keeping her humble.”
At first blush, it’s easy to write off her words as another misstep that was poorly thought through from the Trump camp. And didn’t Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, do enough damage with his comments about “childless cat ladies” already? But it appears there’s something more vicious in Sanders’ comments, which seek to stigmatize a fellow woman in politics.
Knowing that Vice President Kamala Harris has two stepchildren who call her “Momala,” Sanders clearly meant it as a slight against Harris, personally, for not having biological children. The cruelty in this line should not be overlooked.

I did not hear a word about biological anything. Sarah Huckabee Sanders did not utter the word “biological”. I heard Huckabee Sanders relate a story about her daughter dragging her. She said that Kamala has nothing to keep her humble. But this is what MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace calls “casual cruelty”. Remember that Wallace has had it in for Sanders for the last six years. Read here for the details.
Here Nicolle Wallace expands on the disgust she feels for the “casual cruelty” exhibited by Huckabee Sanders:
There is a political desperation in the casual cruelty displayed by Wallace. But then that is the working theory of Wallace’s brain.
The Washington Post writers heard the word “biological” too:
Speaking at a campaign event with former president Donald Trump on Tuesday, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) took a dig at Vice President Kamala Harris for not having biological children.
Sanders, who was White House press secretary under Trump before she was elected governor of her home state in 2022, said at the event in Flint, Mich., that being a mother was her most important role.

The comment drew a quick backlash from Harris supporters, who noted that the vice president has stepchildren with her husband, Doug Emhoff.
The second gentleman, speaking at an event on Wednesday, said all parents, “no matter how you become one, make the same sacrifices and revel in the same joys of raising children.” Emhoff described Sanders comment as “unbelievable.”“As if keeping
What keeps Sarah Huckabee Sanders humble is her crooked eye, her ill proportioned body, her flat hair, her never holding a real job unless u consider the legacy governorship her father left her, her falsehoods captured online, & lackluster personality pic.twitter.com/YPFxSFHiTE

women humble, whether you have children or not, is something we should strive for,” he said. “It is not.”
I heard Huckabee Sanders say that Harris does not have “anything” to keep her humble. I did not hear “biological children”. I know women who have never had children. I know women who adopted. I know people who got bonus children through marriage. (I am not fond of “step”.) They are not necessary for humility. There should be something in your life to keep you humble. Kamala does not seem to have anything to keep her humble.
Zee Cayenne is a grandmother trying to make the world a better place. She uses the casual cruelty we remember during the Trump Administration to keep Sarah humble:

When they get their knickers in a twist over ‘casual cruelty”, remember what they do to women like Sarah Palin, Kat Cammack, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. I don’t feel for Momala Harris at all.

Kamala is a politician. Saying things like this is quite normal. She doesn’t get a gender pass for that.
They are not necessary for humility.
No. But they are really good at it. 🙂
I won’t get into Harris’ step-children. But I will say that there’s nothing that I see in her life that has ever humbled her. Despite the fact of her regular humiliation. (Let’s start with how she got into politics, shall we?) And that doesn’t make her great. It makes her prideful and arrogant, and contributes to a mentality where she doesn’t even know she’s out of her league.
I don’t even like Sanders much. But this is a stupid complaint about her.
It doesn’t matter. She’s a woman and she stepped out of line by criticizing a liberal woman. In 24 hours, it will be reported that Sanders is a racist with internalized misogyny.
Oh, we’re well past that point with Sanders. She’s been governor of Arkansas for how long now? So, they’ve been full-bore “racist with internalized misogyny” for that long, at least.
If I had one of her stepchildren – I’d be proud that my genetics had NOTHING to do with the creature.

With regard to “Cayenne”‘s twit, I have a rhetorical question.
Aren’t the collectivist/socialist/authoritarians in the Dem-wing supposed to be AGAINST “body-shaming”?
The question is purely rhetorical, because everybody knows that Dem-wingers cannot be shamed or guilted, and have exactly ZERO consideration with regard to their own hypocrisy. As has been said many times before, if it weren’t for double-standards they would have no standards at all.
Plus ca change . . .

But apart from that, there’s something even more sinister about this entire controversy, and that is that the “childless cat women” are to be worshiped for their choice and those who actually bear children are to be ridiculed as “breeders”.
Well, eventually the children of the “breeders” will be running society by default, and (hopefully) in a more family-oriented direction.
