Brian Kilmeade is one of the three weekday hosts of Fox & Friends on Fox New Channel. I may not be a huge fan of much of the FNC daytime program, but since the weekend Diana, Princess of Wales died, I have watched Fox & Friends. My pupster, McDuff, knows when it’s time for a Daddy walk and a donut by the Fox & Friends bumper music. Kilmeade is funny and quick on his feet. He was surprised on the May 5 show by an anti-Trumper sixth grader.
The last time Victory Girls wrote about Brian Kilmeade, our Kim wrote about how Jimmy Kimmel wanted to beat Kilmeade up for criticizing the politicization of the Emmys. Big man, that Kimmel.
Over the course of the schools shutdown, Fox & Friends has been interviewing parents and kids regarding the issues that have come up during the pandemic. Today, it was Kilmeade’s turn to talk with three kids. The set up was the earful that Joe Biden got when visiting a reopened Virginia elementary school. One girl talked about taking naps and pretending her microphone didn’t work.
Brian Kilmeade introduced the kids and began the segment. It all went very well until Kilmeade was talking to sixth grader, Mason Seder of Pennsylvania. Young Mason starts off talking about missing his friends and after school activities:
The transcript from the Daily Beast:
“Mason, you’re trying so hard to get your teachers and everybody to understand how bad it is learning at home. How close are you to getting back in the room?” Kilmeade asked the sixth-grader. “What do you miss most about not being in school?” Seder notably did not share Kilmeade’s pessimistic outlook about schools reopening. (The majority of school districts across the U.S. have already resumed in-person learning and many states have ordered schools to reopen.)
“I miss, most obviously, seeing my friends and all the after-school activities that I have done. And I think that we’re very, very close getting back to school,” the Philly student said.
“And I think that the way that our new president is handling things is a very good way and we would not have gone to this if it were still the last president,” he added.
“Really?” the pro-Trump host shot back at the pre-teen. “That’s hard to believe because the last president was saying ‘I want every kid back in school.’”
Faux journalist Dan Rather weighed in:
Wow. The Trump reflex is very strong – like when a doctor taps your knee with a rubber hammer and you can’t help but kick. https://t.co/iKDGdP1JJ8

Thanks, Dan. Other Twitterziens claimed the pre-teen dunked on Kilmeade. Only those ignorant of what’s going on in America could believe that.
Poor Mason is too young to understand Federalism. That’s no slam against Mason, mind you. Most of the people in Congress couldn’t define Federalism if you held a Constitution to their heads. If Mason did understand the concept of Federalism, he would understand that it is the states and local municipalities that can open schools. As a matter of fact in the free states of Florida, Tennessee and Texas, kids have been in school all year.
Also, Mason would have read Victory Girls, he would know that the CDC colluded with the Teacher’s Union to keep schools closed. For a pre-teen, Mason has a pretty big social media footprint. He is a famous anti-Trumper:
According to a March 2021 report by Chalkbeat, Mason Seder attends the McCall Elementary School in Center City, Philadelphia. The sixth-grader appears to be a staunch critic of Donald Trump as evident from his Twitter posts. For instance, on November 8, 2020, he tagged Donald Trump and tweeted ‘Ur fired’, while sharing Joe Biden’s tweet about winning the presidential elections. Seder has also retweeted Joe Biden’s tweets a number of times.
I give credit to Mason for being politically aware. But, he needs to keep the pressure on local officials and state government. Joe Biden can’t help him. Joe Biden is in the pocket of the unions. Brian Kilmeade was kind to the young man.

I read that Dan Rather was in the room with the Carters when the grifter twins dropped by but that Jimmy sent him out for some CrispyCremes and missed the fake photo shoot.
Good post Toni,
Though i’d argue that Mason is politically active, not aware.. If he was aware, he wouldn’t support Bin Hiden..
