“Artic Frost” was a witch hunt by the FBI to find a crime. In addition to key Senators having their phone activity targeted, we now find out that Biden’s FBI was investigating over 160 Republicans.

The usual suspects, Christopher Wray, Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and others were involved.

More than 160 Republicans, including current Trump administration officials, may have been investigated by the FBI under former President Joe Biden, as part of the bureau’s sweeping Arctic Frost probe, documents show.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino, US Pardon Attorney Ed Martin and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro are among the prominent GOP figures named in FBI files released by the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, detailing the massive scope of the Biden-era Justice Department’s investigation into allegations of 2020 election interference.

“What we’ve learned is it was much broader, much more expansive, than we ever thought,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

160 Republicans and counting. The House Judiciary Committee hasn’t finished their investigation and thus it would not surprise me one bit if that number increased. Especially given Chuck Grassley’s Xweet just this afternoon.

Again, “Artic Frost” was a witch hunt in search of a crime. Understandably, the Senators targeted were not amused. 

“We need to know when the Biden FBI targeted our phones and why,” she wrote on X. “This abuse of power cannot go unpunished, and Jack Smith must answer for this. He should be disbarred.”

In an interview with The National News Desk on Tuesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., said she has a lot of questions.

“It exposes every call we made, who, every call coming into us and every call that we place going out. So it also exposes all of that information. And why they did it is what we want to know. And then, in addition to phone numbers and trolling our tolls, did they also go after content and data?”

The “Artic Frost” witch hunt commenced in early 2020. It was supposedly a look into allegations of false electors. But as the years, yes years went on, the investigation became a ‘get Trump however you can’ investigation. 

Keep in mind, everyone in the Biden Administration along with Democrat pundits and the media have been bleating about President Trump and supporters being a threat to democracy. I’d say Artic Frost meets the definition of a threat to democracy since the DOJ and FBI were weaponized against Trump, Republican politicians, and more. 

Artic Frost was a carte blanche enablement of the DOJ to investigate anyone and everyone they wanted. Dozens of conservative groups, nearly limitless authority up to and including tapping the phone of senators and house members.

This was a witch hunt not an investigation.

As noted, this witch hunt disguised as an investigation not only went after the phone calls and texts of sitting U.S. Senators, conservative groups including Turning Point USA were targeted as well. Add to that the 160 or more individuals targeted and it’s obvious the Biden Administration had a plethora of axes to grind against those they deemed as the enemy. 

The Judiciary Committee wants to haul Jack Smith in for more questions. That absolutely should happen. FBI agents involved in this probe must also be questioned. As should Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney.

Absolutely. There HAVE to be consequences or all of this is futile. It’s already a given that the American public has major trust issues with our government.

If people aren’t held to account for crafting and embarking on politically motivated witch hunts, then what’s the point?
