Joe Biden is still big mad about being shoved out the window by the Democrat power brokers. But today, he got to gloat.

The actual current president (yes, he’s still holding the codes to the nuclear football), despite not knowing where he is or where he’s going…

… was pointed toward a podium in the Rose Garden to congratulate Donald Trump and tell Democrats “I told you so.” No, he did’t use those words. The grin on his face said it for him.

The speech itself, delivered off teleprompter, was fairly short. But it was the tone and the expressions that really told the tale, even as he acknowledged that Trump won.

“I hope we can lay to rest the question about the integrity of the American electorate system. It is honest, it is fair and it is transparent. And it can be trusted, win or lose,” Biden said in remarks from the Rose Garden.

The president also committed to a peaceful transition of power ahead of Trump’s inauguration.

“I will do my duty as president. I will fulfill my oath; I will honor the Constitution. On Jan. 20, we will have a peaceful transition of power here in America,” he said.

Biden said he invited Trump to the White House during the transition, which Trump accepted.

“We accept the choice the country made. I’ve said many times: You can’t love your country only when you win. You can’t love your neighbor only when you agree,” Biden said Thursday.

The president said when he called Trump the day prior, he assured him the Biden administration would “work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.”

“That’s what the American people deserve,” he said.

Biden also praised Vice President Harris for her campaign, calling her a partner and public servant and said Americans got to see her “great character.”

“She gave her whole heart and effort,” Biden said.

Weird how Biden can be so sanguine about the American people that he called “garbage” voting for “Orange Hitler,” the man who Kamala Harris insisted was a “fascist.” Huh. Maybe they were just all huge liars and that’s why the American voting public ignored them!

However, some of Old Joe’s speech sounded oddly like a campaign spiel. He’s not thinking of running again… is Jill he?

“Let’s make every day count. That’s the responsibility we have to the American people,” he said. “Setbacks are unavoidable, but giving up is unforgivable.”

“A defeat does not mean we are defeated. We lost this battle — the America of your dreams is calling for you to get back up,” Biden added. “We’re going to be OK, but we need to stay engaged, we need to keep going. And above all, we need to keep the faith.”

“We,” Joe? Who is this “we”? Certainly not YOU. I would lay good money that Joe Biden forgets that he gave this speech by dinnertime, and by the time he eats his ice cream for dessert, he will have forgotten the election has already happened. There is no more “we” for Joe Biden. When he leaves the White House next January (if Kamala doesn’t 25th Amendment him first, just so she can claim the title of “first woman President” for herself), after granting a pardon to his wastrel son Hunter, Old Joe will simply fade away into obscurity on his Delaware beach. He will spend his days being parked in a lounge chair, and then he will sit in the garage in the driver’s seat of his beloved Corvette (which he won’t be allowed to actually drive). He may spill all the tea on the inner workings of his White House to a biographer in order to trash Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, and anyone else who he thinks stabbed him in the back. He will never actually meet the granddaughter he denied existed for years, until it was politically unpalatable to keep ignoring her. At some point in the next few years, we will hear of a fairly significant health development – be it an official Parkinson’s diagnosis, or a stroke, or simply an acknowledgment of the dementia that we can all already see happening. I’m not sure Joe Biden will live another five years. But, Jimmy Carter has been in hospice care for well over a year at this point, so anything is possible.

The Democratic establishment is looking to blame Joe Biden for the election outcome. But today, Biden is having a laugh on them for kicking him out.
