Who are you going to believe – Democrats who keep insisting that Joe Biden is as sharp as a tack behind closed doors, or your own lyin’ eyes???

This video clip from the White House Juneteenth celebration of Joe Biden is not just shocking. It is genuinely frightening. This is the elected leader of the United States. The man with the ability to launch nuclear weapons, if he chooses. The man currently steering our foreign policy and national security straight into the ground. And he is a literal mannequin. His anamatronic figure at Disney World has more life than Joe Biden does in this video clip.

Naturally, Biden was roundly mocked online.

The 81-year-old president’s gaze was fixed on the stage as gospel singer Kirk Franklin performed his song “Love Theory” in front of the commander in chief, Vice President Kamala Harris, second gentleman Doug Emhoff and other dignitaries on the South Lawn – all of whom danced along as Biden stood still.

“Lights are on but no one’s home,” the Trump campaign’s war room account posted on X, in response to Biden’s behavior at the Juneteenth celebration.

Trump campaign adviser Steven Cheung joked that it appeared as if the president was under the influence of marijuana at the event.

“BIDEN: These edibles ain’t s—-. *15 minutes later*,” Cheung tweeted, including a video clip of the president standing rigid among the revelers.

It’s easy to make fun of Joe Biden. But the harsh reality is that this stopped being funny a long time ago. This man should be in a memory care facility, telling nurses about his Uncle Bosey who got eaten by cannibals during World War II. He should not be sitting in the Oval Office being manipulated by Obama alumni and his wife. That Jill Biden – who was busy keeping up appearances for the last week at Hunter Biden’s gun trial in Delaware, making sure the jury didn’t forget that the Biden family owns Delaware politics – is still pushing Joe into the spotlight instead of protecting him just confirms her as downright sociopathic. Joe Biden is in decline. He has his good days (perhaps assisted by medication) and he has very bad days. As anyone who has watched a loved one slowly fade away into the fog of dementia, the bad days will soon outnumber the good ones. And yet, the Democrats have no other options.

Because THIS is who is standing in the wings if the whole holey Jenga tower of Joe’s mind and body comes crashing down.

Given what we are seeing from Joe Biden, if he is reelected, I don’t think he lasts long enough to give Kamala Harris a shot at two full terms of her own. Not that Kamala Harris would have a chance of being elected on her own, given her poll numbers. Waiting for Joe to collapse while standing behind him is her only chance at being president – and given his current mental state, it’s not a bad bet to make.

And yet Democrats are ready to shoot the messenger. In this case, Nate Silver, who is looking at the poll numbers and telling some hard truths.

Silver caused a stir in February when he argued there might be Democrats who are better equipped to take on the 77-year-old former president. Last month, he suggested Biden should consider stepping aside.

“What’s clearer [in my opinion] is that Democrats would have been better served if Biden had decided a year ago not to seek a second term, which would have allowed them to have some semblance of a primary process and give voters a say among the many popular Democrats across the country,” he said Monday.

Silver noted that Biden is in “MUCH worse shape,” in terms of polling, than he was in 2020 heading into Election Day, when he held leads in the swing states of Arizona, Florida Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Several recent surveys show Trump ahead of Biden in all of those states.

Silver suggested Biden’s age may be to blame for his lackluster support, calling it an “extremely understandable concern” for voters.

“Biden’s age is something voters are overwhelmingly consistent about mentioning in polls,” he said. “The concern has persisted through various phases of media vibes.”

“The side-by-side video comparisons of Biden now vs. e.g. 2012 are also extremely revealing,” Silver continued. “There’s been an obvious change.”

“I think it’s borderline gaslighting to imply it’s just a media/vibes thing.”

There’s a whole lot of coping in the replies to Silver’s tweet, but there is no getting away from the truth. Joe Biden was no intellectual giant ten years ago, but now he’s just a meat puppet. It’s scary to see him actually blanking out in the middle of an event, frozen stiff, because he can’t remember how he got there or what’s going on, until someone actually addresses him and snaps him somewhat back to reality. Usually, that person is Jill. Kamala Harris, who was standing RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, neither noticed or cared that the boss had short-circuited.

The truly terrible thing is that absolutely no one around Joe Biden actually cares about what happens to Joe Biden. What we are seeing is exactly what we saw before, when Dianne Feinstein was literally propped up, wheeled in, and kept in office solely because her staff wanted to keep her there, and she was a Democrat in a divided Senate. She died while being used as a political prop. Joe Biden is headed in exactly the same direction. Democrats are stuck with him because they know Kamala Harris will lose, and they decided to forgo a primary battle. The Biden family is completely dependent on Joe holding the power of the pardon until the very last second possible, because once he is gone, the money dries up and the protection from prosecution or the press vanishes.

Joe Biden is a venal and disgusting old man who should be voted out of office. He’s also in a severe cognitive decline that everyone around him is either ignoring or happy to exploit for their own purposes. The American public has eyes and ears – we know the old man standing in front of the cameras is not pulling some “Saturday Night Live” Ronald Reagan persona in order to conceal his own depth of intelligence and awareness. The Wall Street Journal story helped widen the cracks that were already there, video evidence keeps piling up, and someday soon, there will be a flight of stairs that spells doom for Joe Biden, even when wearing the life rafts now strapped to his feet. Pointing and laughing makes Democrats mad, but it’s not going to save the country when the 3 am phone call comes and Joe can’t take it because he’s got to get the nurse to help take off his CPAP mask first.

We the People are in deep trouble, and while the ballot box is indeed a remedy, things could get much, much worse before they get better.
