Biden Colonoscopy Raises Many Questions

The routine physical Biden was supposed to have today, just got a little less routine. NOW he’s going to have a colonoscopy as well!

President Biden will temporarily transfer power to Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday morning while he undergoes a colonoscopy, the White House said.

“This morning, the President will travel to Walter Reed Medical Center for a routine physical. While he is there, the President will undergo a routine colonoscopy,” press secretary Jen Psaki said.

Psaki had earlier only said he would undergo a routine physical at Walter Reed.

The procedure was not on Biden’s original public schedule, but was announced by Psaki in a brief morning statement.

Kamala getting Presidential power for even a few hours is enough to make me cringe.

However, it’s the other issue that raises red flags for me. Biden’s health. If it was just going to be routine physical, but now a colonoscopy is added in? Why now? What’s going on?

Oh sure, we all heard the rumors of his issues while meeting with the Pope, and we definitely heard about the rumors of gassing while chatting with Camille while in Scotland. And many Americans are DEFINITELY waking up and letting everyone know that there are very real concerns about not only Biden’s cognitive abilities, but his health in general.

Only 40 percent of voters surveyed agreed with the statement that Biden “is in good health,” while 50 percent disagreed. That 10-percentage-point gap — outside the poll’s margin of error — represents a massive 29-point shift since October 2020, when Morning Consult last surveyed the question and found voters believed Biden was in good health by a 19-point margin.

I tell you what, a TWENTY-NINE point shift in one month is very telling. And should make the Democrats incredibly nervous.

He’s had a persistent cough for months now. Supposedly that is just one long allergy season for Biden. Don’t get me wrong, but that can happen. Yet no mention of getting treatment from his physicians for the prolonged allergies?

Here’s the other thing about Biden’s supposedly “routine” physical and colonoscopy. The last time he had a physical was in 2019.

Biden released a three-page summary of his medical history in December 2019, during his presidential campaign. Written by his doctor, it declared him “healthy” and “vigorous.”

It indicated he was treated for an irregular heartbeat, gastroesophageal reflux and seasonal allergies. It also showed he had a history of atrial fibrillation, which was discovered during a routine check before he had his gallbladder removed in 2003.

Biden has never required any medication or electrical treatments, but he does take a blood thinner, according to the summary. He also uses over-the-counter esomeprazole for gastroesophageal reflux and uses Allegra and Dymista to treat his sinus symptoms.

Read the above carefully. He has an irregular heartbeat and was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. But is NOT TAKING ANY MEDS for those issues?

I know and knew many people who dealt with AFIB and irregular heartbeats. Every single person took medication(s) for those issues. But we are supposed to believe that Biden isn’t taking ANY medications for those two issues?

Something stinks here. But hey! He’s healthy and tough to keep up with according to Jen Psaki.

We are supposed to think this is just a no big deal because other Presidents have done the same thing.

In other words, nothing to see here, move along. Oh and by the way, there will be a written summary provided later today or it’ll be a Friday night news dump. Or, they’ll delay it.

Will the media be as vested in wanting demanding to know the results of his physical and colonoscopy as they were regarding President Donald Trump’s health? Nope. I’d be willing to be that they will be singularly incurious about the whole deal.

But again, a colonoscopy isn’t a simple procedure. Especially since an elderly man with atrial fibrillation, a heart issue he’s supposedly NOT taking medication for, is going under general anesthesia for this procedure.

There are red flags with this. BIG red flags.

As a healthcare professional I am astonished that a man his age with a history of certain medical problems is not having an annual physical. I suspect he has had them for several years now. Also periodic colonoscopies are recommended after age 50. Transparent administration?

  • rbj1 says:

Colonoscopies are recommended at 50, 60, and 70 y.o. After that, not so much. -After watching my grandmother die from colon cancer, I’m a big proponent.

    Very odd.

  • GWB says:

Meh. A colonoscopy is fairly routine for men of a certain age, and Biden is more certain of that age than most.
I don’t think it’s anything to fling poo about, in terms of transparency or whatnot.

This dude’s got a lot worse medical issues than his backside. Most are concentrated in what he keeps up there.

(Come to think of it, how will they fit the scope up there?)

C’mon, Maan,, that is just cover. They put a drawstring in his O-RING.

  • Jackie says:

Good. Now we have had a female president. Can the feminists shut up now?

  • Scott says:

“Biden has never required any medication or electrical treatments, but he does take a blood thinner,”.. That right there is a direct contradiction. a blood thinner is damn sure a medication (one that is taken by those with atrial fibrillation..
Yeah, it would be a miracle if the left showed as much interest in the decline of pResident pudding cup as they did in the health of President Trump

Also, Medicare stops paying for colonoscopies after 75 because most people’s life expectancy at that point is less than 10 years. So not routine, I would say. Also requires 3 days of nasty prep. So not last minute. I want to know whether they did a Montreal Assessment which is pretty much routine once you reach 70.

  • JAW3 says:

I took it to be half truth and misdirection. No discussion of cognitive decline at all? And my tin foil hat comes on to wonder if there have been side effects to all the meds they have been using to get him alert for state functions after sundown. Just sayin..

  • Jerryskids says:

So Slow Joe went in for a routine physical and at the last minute the doctor decided as long as he was there, they might as well do a colonoscopy? That’s not how a colonoscopy works, you have to prep for it first. With the casualness that they tried to pass this off without mentioning it up front, one might be excused for wondering if the colonoscopy was the reason for the visit and the “routine physical” story was simply cover for the fact that the doctor was suspicious about something he had seen that made him want to do a colonoscopy. And coming on top of the recent rumors about Joe’s incontinence problems around both Camilla and the Pope, it’s perhaps reasonable to wonder what’s going on with his butt beyond it being wiped.

  • 4133 says:

I think it’s a 29-point shift in 13 months, not 1, if the clip from Morning Consult is correct. Still, the end result of a negative gap is what’s important.

  • Carnac says:

I think Dan Quayle was also an acting president.

  • Doctor Mist says:

I don’t disagree with most of what you say, but I think you are mistaken about him going under general anesthesia. That’s a big deal, and I’m pretty sure colonoscopies are normally done under sedation instead, which is a much gentler medication; if you really marshall your mind you can even pay attention during it and retain memory if the whole process, though it’s easier to just doze and let it happen.

As others have said, it is really quite sensible for someone his age and importance to have regular colonoscopies, but it’s also completely absurd to say it was done on the spur of the moment.
