Over 700 Israelis died in a single day when Hamas attacked. Death and murder on this scale is comparable to September 11th, and is the single largest death toll for Jews since the Holocaust. And now the Biden administration is desperately trying to not take the blame for what has happened.
However, it doesn’t look like Team Biden is going to be able to avoid the blame. We have already covered that Hamas, having gotten $75 million in food aid approved by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, given to the United Nations to feed Palestine, also got financial help from Iran to start this war. Iran got $6 billion from the Biden administration in exchange for five American hostages, which Antony Blinken and the administration swore up and down and sideways would ONLY be spent on food and medicine. We know that Iran then told everyone that they were going to spend the money however they wanted. The administration long ago lost sight of the fact that money is fungible – when you give someone money for food, that means they can take the money they WOULD have spent on food and spend it on something else. And we are now learning that as soon as Iran got the money, they helped Hamas make the plans.
August 10, 2023. Media first reports that a deal has been struck between the Biden Admin and Iran, money for hostages.
Today the WSJ reported that Iran had been planning the attack on Israel since August.

Iranian security officials helped plan Hamas’s Saturday surprise attack on Israel and gave the green light for the assault at a meeting in Beirut last Monday, according to senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah, another Iran-backed militant group.
Officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had worked with Hamas since August to devise the air, land and sea incursions—the most significant breach of Israel’s borders since the 1973 Yom Kippur War—those people said.
Details of the operation were refined during several meetings in Beirut attended by IRGC officers and representatives of four Iran-backed militant groups, including Hamas, which holds power in Gaza, and Hezbollah, a Shiite militant group and political faction in Lebanon, they said.
U.S. officials say they haven’t seen evidence of Tehran’s involvement. In an interview with CNN that aired Sunday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said: “We have not yet seen evidence that Iran directed or was behind this particular attack, but there is certainly a long relationship.”
Remember, the Biden administration was still trying to scrape together some kind of zombie Iran Deal. With this revelation, any attempt at a deal is now deader than a doornail – which is why the administration is still hoping to pull off a Jedi mind trick and convince everyone that Iran wasn’t involved because they can’t find a smoking gun yet.
Asked during a briefing with House leadership Sunday evening whether there was any indication that Iran had direct involvement, acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said: “We have not found that connection, but that doesn’t mean we won’t.”
According to a person familiar with the call, Nuland noted that Iran has historically provided weapons to Hamas but US officials are looking for a more specific connection.
One congressional source said that given the sophistication of the attack, Iran would have had a role, since Hamas does not have the ability to buy weapons at this scale. The question now: To what extent Iran played a role.
Another key question is how Hamas coordinated and amassed the people and weaponry to execute the operation and did so undetected by key Middle Eastern and Western intelligence operations, including the Israelis.
“In this specific instance, we have not yet seen evidence that Iran directed or was behind this particular attack,” Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday. On NBC’s “Meet the Press” he added, “That’s something we’re looking at very carefully, and we’ve got to see where the facts lead.”
So, even though “senior member of Hamas and Hezbollah” are saying of course, Iran helped us out with the attack, Team Biden is going to insist on the same standard of evidence that they want in Joe Biden’s impeachment inquiry – look, unless we have a receipt for RPGs and gliders and rockets that is signed by Iran with instructions to be sent to Hamas, then we’re just never gonna know who paid the bill!
Blinken was the Biden administration’s Sunday morning offering yesterday. He didn’t quite do a full Ginsburg, but he did appear on three of the five morning shows, where he took issue with people saying that Iran is using the $6 billion to fund the war on Israel, insisting that not a penny has been spent yet.
Again, can someone get Blinken a dictionary and explain the word “fungible” to him? Also, if the money hasn’t been spent, here’s an idea – freeze it again!
Let’s make this easier: If the claim is this money hasn’t been touched and isn’t relevant, then how about the Biden admin announce that, given Iran’s involvement in this weekend’s attack, they are freezing the funds again and adding new sanctions on the Iranian regime? https://t.co/mJpVSeROY4

What’s Iran going to do – demand the hostages back? But no, we have an administration who has coddled Iran, and they don’t want to know if they ended up helping Iran fund a war and kill Americans along with Israelis. And we know that there are Americans who have been murdered.
A spokesperson for the NSC said the agency can confirm the deaths of “several” U.S. citizens, but did not provide a specific number.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and to the families of all those affected, and wish those injured a speedy recovery,” the spokesperson wrote in a statement shared with The Hill.
NSC said it is monitoring the situation closely and “remain[s] in touch” with its Israeli partners and local authorities.
The spokesperson also said there are American citizens that remain unaccounted for, adding the NSC is “closely monitoring information” about those hostages taken by Hamas.
The Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer, has told CNN that there are Americans being held hostage in Gaza. Which is why Antony Blinken is putting out tweets that he is talking to TURKEY about getting the hostages freed from Gaza. Turkey??? Who on earth is Blinken talking to in Turkey??
Oh, GREAT. We have top men in this administration. TOP. MEN. Meanwhile, the White House called a lid before lunch on Sunday, then Joe and Jill hosted a barbecue for the Executive Residence staff and their families on the White House lawn in the evening, complete with live music. Sure, there’s a war on and our ally Israel just had civilians massacred in the streets, and there are Americans who are dead or held hostage, but THE BARBECUE MUST GO ON. And there are currently no press briefings scheduled for today. Which means that the last time Biden spoke publicly about an ongoing catastrophic situation in Israel was on Saturday, and we still don’t know when he was briefed about it initially, or when he learned about the Hezbollah attacks.
Meanwhile, the scale of the brutality cannot be ignored – unless you are Joe Biden. It’s good to be the king president, where if you only want to talk about “happy things,” then you can just avoid the press for as long as you want, because they’re (mostly) all going to vote for you anyway. The media? Hold the Biden administration accountable? Pfffft.
UPDATE 7:15 AM PT
Hmmmm, looks like Blinken and the State Department have deleted the tweet where he said he was talking to Turkey about advocating for a cease-fire and releasing the hostages. Fortunately, people have the receipts – and the State Department still has the readout of the call, which does not contain the words “cease fire.”
Why did Sec. Blinken delete this? pic.twitter.com/o9AvX5qVuq

Top. Men. Will the press ask the State Department why this was deleted?

By giving $6,000,000,000 to Iran, Biden is directly responsible for the attack.
Without question. The first thing we should do is re-freeze those assets.. we’re already moving a carrier group to the region, and after that, we should do… NOTHING.. stay out of the way, and let the Israelis handle business. the only reason this crap is still ongoing is because we constantly step in, and pull back the reigns on the IDF before they finish the job.. This time we need to just let them handle their own affairs, and turn all the areas harboring terrorists behind these attacks into smoking rubble.. and just to hammer the message home, keep up the bombardment until the rubble bounces..
As bad as all this is (and I’m afraid it will get worse), I strongly urge the Conservative members of the House to “Keep their eyes on the prize”, so to speak. What better way to deflect attention away from a major criminal investigation than by setting the world ablaze……..Geaux Israel
Nation building is not the US’ strong suit. Generally, it screws up its ‘humanitarian’ aid anywhere the know nothing Congress votes to send it. Joes just following the example set out by his predecessors, particularly Jimmy ‘Mr. Peanut’ Carter.
No president since WWII has screwed up the middle east worse than Carter did.. Obama tried, and now during his third term, he’s making an all out push.. He really wants the title off worst president ever…
