Last night, we saw Donald Trump give his acceptance speech at the convention. That was Presidential Donald. He gives a good speech, sticks to the script, and gets lots of applause lines in. His style and message are broad and inclusive.
But that was last night.
Fast-forward to this morning, where we learn that Ted Cruz is still living rent-free in Donald Trump’s head.

And there’s The Donald. This is the candidate who can’t bear the thought that Cruz didn’t bend over and kiss his ring. So he will just trot out the debunked canard that Cruz’s father was involved with Lee Harvey Oswald.
Trump right now is going back to Cruz's father and Lee Harvey Oswald. "Has anybody ever denied that was his father" with Oswald?

I spent years investigating Pres. Kennedy's assassination. I can't believe I need to say this: Cruz's father was NOT involved.

And this is not helping people who may have been leaning toward party unity after last night.
I've honestly come to the conclusion Trump is worse than Hillary. She's wrong & lacks any character but Trump is that and mentally unstable.

Oh, and the endorsement that Cruz did not give? Trump says he doesn’t want it now. So nyah nyah nyah.

And he gives a shout out to his buddies at the National Enquirer.

Someone check Mike Pence’s eyeblinks and see if he’s sending out a plea for help in Morse code. Not that I can scrape up much sympathy for Pence at the moment. He should have known what he was signing on for.
Last night should have been the biggest moment in Trump’s political career. He should still be basking in the glow of the convention this morning. Instead, he goes on a freak-out about the one person that came the closest to being in his position last night. After Cruz spoke, Trump claimed it was “no big deal” – and admitted that he knew what Cruz was going to say.
Wow, Ted Cruz got booed off the stage, didn't honor the pledge! I saw his speech two hours early but let him speak anyway. No big deal!

Today…
"Honestly, he (Cruz) may have ruined his political career. I feel so bad for him." — Trump
Methinks he's not over it.

Trump just gave a pretty well-received speech, and he should be focused on beating Hillary Clinton. Instead, he’s looking backward at Ted Cruz, and reminding people why he is such a poor candidate.
There are two Donald Trumps. You never know which one you are going to get when he talks. This is not helping Republicans, the campaign, or the millions of Americans that need to be convinced to vote for him if he wants to win.
Donald… seriously…
Do you want to be president and beat Hillary, or do you want to keep harping on about Ted Cruz? You can’t do both.
