We all know by now that Donald Trump is totally down with the white supremacy. He’s cool with endorsements from David Duke and has a history of allying himself with white nationalist groups. And for some reason, this doesn’t bother his followers. But it sure does bother the rest of the country, though — and he’s just done it again. This time, Trump retweeted a Hitler-loving, genocidal white supremacist who wants Trump to Make America Great again. Presumably by getting rid of all those pesky colored people, right? And Trump is on board!
Trump retweeted a rather dull stated from Twitter user Jason Bergkamp.

The problem, though, is that Bergkamp apparently loves him some Hitler, and writes for a publication that specializes in things like “white nationalism and genocide”. He also evidently approves of African apartheid, and likes to retweet photos of almost naked white girls with the hashtag #WhiteGirlsAreMagic, as well as photos swearing that Hitler will be proven right:
This isn’t the first time, either; “The Hill” notes that he’s retweeted this guy seven times. SEVEN. TIMES. And that’s just retweets for this one specific white supremacist. It actually happens quite frequently, with Trump even going so far as to retweet an account named @WhiteGenocideTM.
And of course, the TrumpBots will defend this, as usual. Who cares about a retweet, right? Well, this can be explained a few different ways, but none of them are good. The first is that Trump is secretly a racist who identifies with white supremacists and approves of their message. That wouldn’t be good. The second is that he’s too lazy to check whose messages he’s tacitly endorsing. That also wouldn’t be good. And the third is that he’s too stupid to figure out that he needs to look first. Yep, also not good. No matter which way you slice it, it’s not presidential. We don’t want a president who is lazy, stupid, or a white supremacist. So trying to figure out which category Trump falls into is really irrelevant. Because no matter which way you slice it, it’s still rotten.
