Thanks, Michigan Democrat voters. Hasan Piker’s current bestie is now your official primary winner for United States Senate.

Now, the elected Democrats in Michigan did try to keep this from happening. One candidate was convinced to drop out of the Senate primary so that Representative Haley Stevens, who had the endorsement of Gretchen Whitmer, could consolidate the vote and not let a DSA-backed terror apologist become the nominee. And the race was very, very close. El-Sayed can thank the affulent liberal white women for his nomination, and Mallory McMorrow, the candidate who dropped out but was still on the ballot, as her numbers could have put Stevens over the top.

With over 95% of the vote counted and after voters waited for Wayne County’s slow counting process, El-Sayed was finally projected to win Wednesday morning. Decision Desk HQ called the race at 8:35 a.m. ET, with El-Sayed at 48.9% to Stevens’ 47.5%.

Early results showed El-Sayed, the former public health director for Detroit, performing stronger than expected across multiple counties. Stevens, a four-term congresswoman from the Detroit suburbs, performed the best in areas where most of the state’s black voters live, such as Wayne, Oakland, and Genesee Counties. El-Sayed, meanwhile, outperformed his benchmarks among younger voters while Stevens severely underperformed among older voters, according to election data.

Stevens, being an obedient little Democrat, promptly rolled over and endorsed El-Sayed – which he probably would not have done for her. However, this does prove the point that Democrats are trying to convince themselves that “the big tent” is going to mean power for them, and having power is the point.

Stevens called El-Sayed to concede Wednesday, and she issued a statement saying she would back El-Sayed’s candidacy.

“I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election,” she said.

Michigan Democrats are now going to force national Democrats to suck it up and not notice all the problems Abdul El-Sayed has, and if people notice, then it is Islamophobia or racism or whatever the catchword of the day is.

Voters are not supposed to notice or care that El-Sayed has a history of terror apologia and hangs around with Communist sympathizers like Hasan Piker, who is very much enjoying the fact that his buddy won because it gives him power.

Voters are not supposed to notice El-Sayed’s background or political history.

If elected, El-Sayed would become America’s first Muslim senator. His parents are both Egyptian immigrants, and his father was a part-time imam, The Daily Wire previously reported. His father-in-law is a founding committee member of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, according to the federal government.

His background and hard-Left platform — which includes Medicare for all, abolishing ICE, defunding the police, restructuring the U.S. Supreme Court, and raising taxes on billionaires — galvanized the Democratic Party’s far-Left base, including streamer Hasan Piker, who has said that the United States “deserved” the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Let’s not forget when El-Sayed said didn’t want to talk about the death of Ali Khamenei, because he needed to not upset his voters in Dearborn.

Or that he has questionable support from a radical imam in Michigan, and a pastor that he paid off to endorse him. Voters are supposed to ignore that El-Sayed metaphorically asked for John Fetterman’s head on a pike.

Voters are also supposed to believe that this devout Muslim is being targeted with OnlyFans ads on Instagram. Suuuuuuure. Those posts just MAGICALLY appeared in his feed because… reasons. What did you tell the algorithm, Abdul, you creep?

And voters are definitely not supposed to notice a random “inshallah” dropped in his victory night speech.

Far-Left Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed received loud cheers during his election night speech in Michigan on Tuesday when he used the Arabic phrase “inshallah,” meaning “God willing,” a phrase commonly used by Muslims.

“I want you to remind them, that if we come through this, when we come through this, inshallah —” El-Sayed said before the crowd erupted. The Democrat U.S. Senate hopeful was referring to people skeptical that he can beat Republican Mike Rogers in a general election.

The nominee’s “inshallah” remark, and the crowd’s reaction, highlights the rapid growth of Michigan’s Muslim population over the past several decades, particularly in the Detroit metropolitan area, which is home to one of the largest Arab and Muslim communities in the United States. Immigration from places like Somalia, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, and other Muslim-majority nations has transformed the state’s demographics, and subsequently, its politics.

El-Sayed has a whole host of problems, but he counted on the radical left and Muslim enclaves in Michigan to drag him across the finish line in the primary. And they did. Now, he faces an uphill battle to convince all those Haley Stevens voters to vote for him, instead of voting for Mike Rogers or staying home (which is essentially a vote for Rogers). Is it possible? Yes. The Michigan Senate race was considered a toss-up before the primary. That may change, but it may not. Michigan is a winnable seat for Republicans, and Rogers could flip it. Having Abdul El-Sayed as the Democrat nominee certainly makes the contrast between the candidates absolutely stark.

Abdul El-Sayed is a dangerous candidate, and he could absolutely win. We’re about to find out just how in thrall the Democrats are to the idea of power at any price, even if it costs them their party. Hang on to your seats, everyone – this election season is going to be a bumpy ride.
