By now, you have seen and heard about the piece of trash who burned a woman alive on an New York City subway because he could.

Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, an illegal piece of trash who was deported once before was alone in a subway car with a woman who was sleeping when he lit her on fire, walked out of the subway car and WATCHED her burn. The victim appeared to have mobility issues, as indicated by the walker in close proximity (video NSFW or children):

Zapeta-Calil is an illegal migrant from Guatemala who burned a sleeping woman because, quite simply, he could. He fears no authority because there are few consequences for breaking the law here.

He sneaked into our country in 2018, was deported and came back at some point, reportedly staying in a shelter on the taxpayers’ dime. Remember when sensible New Yorkers said the migrant situation was untenable? Now it’s deadly.”-Kristen Fleming, The New York Post

Fleming calls Zapata-Calil an animal. I would argue that this particular description is unfair to animals. Most animals behave much better than this POS. CNN calls him an “undocumented immigrant” accused of “brutal murder” and “depraved behavior” (their quotes, not mine.)

Zapata-Calil is not an animal. He is not an “undocumented migrant”, he is here ILLEGALLY. He IS a depraved individual and a brutal murderer. We can thank our current feckless pResident and useless VP for his re-entry across our borders. They did nothing to stop him from coming here.

But the disconnect is very real. Enter NY governor, Kathy Hochul:

Make no mistake: any crime is one too many, even with subway crime going down.

The scene was straight out of something you may see occur on a subway in a third-world country but the scene also speaks volumes about New Yorkers, and humanity as a whole. Sebastian Zapata-Calil was not the only person who watched this woman burn on the scene. Other New Yorkers watched, and filmed the atrocity. They stood by, with their cell phones, capturing the footage and THEY DID NOTHING. Even law-enforcement walked by and also DID NOTHING.

Too many people captured the subway snuff film and posted their footage, with one guy commentating like he’s watching a mind-bending immersive art display.

In a city of hustle-and-bustle, New Yorkers are in their own worlds most of the time. They avoid eye contact with strangers and mind their own business for the most part because they know, at any point in time, they, too, could be a victim of a deranged human being’s crime. But, to sit by and watch, while posting an atrocity on social media shows us how far into the depths of despair we have descended. Filming a human being being burned alive on a subway train and doing absolutely nothing about it has nothing to do with fear that the perp would do similar to them; these people have no fear as they whip out their phone cameras.

They have no souls, either.

We do not know much about the victim. We do not need to. The only aspects we need to know about her is that she was someone’s daughter, sister, auntie, friend and quite possibly, someone’s mother. She, in the simplest of terms, was another human being. Our society has become so desensitized to violence and to human relationships that she became “a mind-blowing, immersive art display” to one. She became inhuman to everyone who filmed her last moments of life.

This is what happens in a Godless society; a society where life, at the moment of conception, becomes dispensable; a society dependent upon others to save you and your family instead of reliance on God and your gifts and blessings. This is what happens in a scarcity paradigm and with a “me first” mentality. This is what happens when you display platitudes on your lawn signs but step over homeless drug addicts strolling around like the zombie apocalypse and are completely unfazed when your foot lands in a pile of actual human excrement on the streets en route to Starbucks. This is what happens when you see life through the lens of your phone as a passive consumer with a craving for constant entertainment and amusement. A burning human body is not a human being with a name and a family-SHE is your post of the day with thousands of viewers. SHE is your potential launch to fame; a chance to make a name for yourself-a chance to be more “interesting” to your social circle and maybe, turn a profit.

While at the same time giving out pardons to over 35 death row inmates, Happy Holidays everyone.
